Legion's going back to the geth, so thats reason enough for me for him not to come back. As you can see, i like Legion, he's my avatar, but I'm not whining about him coming back possibly as a cameo.

And as to whether or not you agree whether i respect your opinion, i wont comment on that. i know i do, so thats good enough for me. :)

Tali's going back to the Quarians, so that's reason enough for me for her not to come back. As you can see, I like Tali, she's my avatar, but I'm whinning about her coming back only as a possible cameo.

Actually you're wrong. Some have came in here and posted that they did agree with my conserns. Only they were flooded out by those that support the shafting of everyone not named Garrus and Tali.

I agree with you Elite. Keep it up.

BioWare can't make something EVERYONE is OK with.. They try as hard as they can by reaching out to the majority, and do something ALMOST everyone is glad with, like bringing Garrus and Tali back.

Gee, I dunno. Might have something to do with the fact that we're over half a year away from release.

Or the fact that Bioware doesn't give two ****s about anyone not named Tali or Garrus from ME2?

Sh**!!!!!   Does that mean Shepard wont get any screen time?!!?!?!?!?!

Bioware's a troll and trollers gotta troll.

Seems to be pretty effective if they got you into this state.

You know what I mean by mixed. Where the heck are the ME2 Squaddies? All I see are the ME1 Squaddies and a new guy!

Garrus and Tali are still ME2 squadmates. With that said, they still are the most popular ME2 characters - if Thane was more popular then Garrus, then I would have expected Thane to snag Garrus' spot. Vice-versa for Tali and Miranda.

Yes I do. This person is just like the rest. Garrus and Tali aren't in ME3? They get into a rage. Tali and Garrus got in over everyone else despite being killable and optional? They rejoice and call anyone else a troll for wanting characters like Jacob in over their beloved Garrus and Tali.

Dude. If you look at my past posts, I have said very many times that I feel that keeping Garrus and Tali in your squad stunts their character growth. I love Garrus and Tali. I love them enough that I would like to see them be more than Shep's henchmen. I would prefer Jacob and Miranda (the romance for about 75% of my Sheps) to be in over Garrus and Tali. But I'm not going whine about it because it's a game. I like all the characters.

And I don't think you're a troll. I think you're a brat.Image IPB

Wow dude I'm in impressed you got ME3 a year before it was released......  can we hang out so i can see what its like/?

You'r a sad man. You can't make a single thought on your own and always bring up the ME3 thing. No, I don't have it. Though from how Bioware has handled ME2 and DA2 it should be CLEAR what the heck is going to happen from what has been released/

Oh, so you are a fortune teller?

I'm out. As someone once said 'Done talking to a wall'.

I wouldn't worry too much, his 'Fortune Telling' skills leave something to be desired.

According to his powers of presentience it was impossible for ANY of the ME:2 cast to return, 'cause of you know 'the variables'.

Midget is just upset that all of us that tried to explain that 'variables' are only a factor in a character returning, have ended up being right.
Garrus and Tali returning basically blows his entire argument out of the water and makes him look extremely foolish, if two characters can return, then the only thing preventing the others from returning is the writers.

I hate them when they're killable and optional yet they return AGAIN and if you don't save them? You miss out of MASSIVE content. f you miss anyone else in ME2? You miss a stupid cameo.

Uhh... no you dont.  If Garrus or Tali die you dont have 2 less squad mates, instead you get 2 new species equalivants that do everything they do (though not sure about romance), same for any other killable ME2 squadmates.  Bioware has confirmed this, check the info pages and interviews.

Also the full team list HASNT been confirmed yet, so its likely more than just Garrus and Tali will be returning.  It just hasnt been announced yet because they cant release all the information early, because then they dont have anything to feed the media hype and ME3 gets forgotten by all but the hard core fans.

Did you read NOTHING from what's been released? They outright said that if Tali and Garrus are dead they aren't in your Squad and you miss out. That's a consequece of your choice. You lose Squaddies if you lose those two. Yet you lose anyone else? You miss a goddamn cameo.

Only new character thusfar is James and Bioware released that there are NO new Romances.

I've seen enough. Clearly ME2 didn't matter only Tali and Garrus did.

She is? I thought she'd be a permament squadmate, as many sources have confirmed. Oh, well.

Yes Elite... Keep it up.....   I'm sure Bioware will change how ME3 is structured story / gameplay wise based on your being upset.....

Elite's position seems to be that since Tali and Garrus can die, they shouldn't have large roles in ME3 and should just be cameos, at least what I can make of it.  I actually do agree with that.

What I am not sure of is if Elite is realizing this applies to all the ME2 squadmates. :P

Dave, you're pathetic. You know damn well that those variables were all in the game and were true. My Topic was made to explain why it's was impossible for them to return without Bioware handwaving things or screwing over the rest of their fanbase.

Bioware did both and it's bull****. If you aren't a Tali or Garrus fan and you own ME2 than you goit shafted big time.

Don't pull my leg, Admiral. I actually like you but I'm allowed to be angry in this situation. Bioware took a **** all over the rest of the ME2 fanbase and lo and behold! Garrus and Tali are the only characters returning from the previous game AGAIN. Despite them being optional and killable.

So don't baby me. This is bull**** and it's sad that people approve of this.

What do you mean, "only?"  Dude, this game doesn't come out until next year and you're assuming we have all the information already?  What kind of marketing campaign introduces the entire team over half a year before the game even comes out?  Don't you see what they're doing here--keeping a few secrets hidden and revealing information slowly to get to to pay attention to their marketing stunts?  Oh, and let's not forget that maybe they don't want to spoil the entire game this time?  Seriously, chillax--Casey Hudson himself stated that every single old squadmate will be in the game somehow, and this is only the first wave of information.  My money's on at least one more confirmed squadmate at E3.

And really, your expectations are a bit unrealistic.  Know who my two favorite characters in ME1 were?  Wrex and Lorik Qui'in.  Guess who got cameo'd?  Guess who didn't show up at all?  An even greater predicament is that Hudson hinted that Wrex won't be a squadmate yet again, plus two of my favorite characters--Samara and Kasumi--will probably be taking a ride on the cameo express as well.

Liara is one of my least favorite squadmates, and I could care less about Tali.  However, I understand that they are greatly loved by a lot of fans and have a purpose to serve in the story.  I can recognize that Samara and Kasumi were pretty much one-shot deals, even though I largely considered them my "soul sistas."  Tali and Liara, meanwhile, have the benefit of a massive fanbase, plot relevance, and unflinching loyalty to Shepard.

I can deal with my personal wants and opinion being different from the majoirty and the intentions of the game devs.  Yeah, Garrus' return makes me happy (in the pants), but seriously, I was rolling my eyes for a while at Liara being a full-time squaddie again (because apparently being the Shadow Broker is less important than running around with a pistol).  However, that's not a game breaker for me, and it shouldn't be for you, either.

You're not the only person that's a fan of a ME2 exclusive squadmate. Bioware knows they are loved as well, and I'm positive they aren't going to ignore them all of a sudden just because the most popular characters are back first.

We need to have some faith.

Lock? Fine, if Bioware makes a habit of censoring fan conserns that aren't about Tali and Garrus than it will speak volumes in their character.

I've bought every Bioware game since I began gaming. Everytime they released a new game I hope they make the choices in the best interests of EVERYONE.

Than they released DA2 and my faith wavered. Now they're inly bringing Tali and Garrus back from ME2? Bull****.

Pls, go back to DA2 forums and keep your 'concerns' there... tis like bloody cancer, spreading on healthy parts. Just go back there, rage, just don't bring madness from there here. Thank you, m8, appreciate it.

I do relieze that. Didn't you read my variable Topic before Garrus and Tali fans derailed it? The only way not to shaft anyone was eiher bring everyone back or no one back.

Bioware told the rest of the fanbase to **** themselves and that only Garrus and Tali matter and only they bring consequences from ME2.

Now Elite WANTS all of them back.

Maybe it's an imposter.

This madness spread as soon as they released DA2 than revealed only Tali and Garrus are returning from ME2 despite being killable and optional.
