Don't you know? Bioware is a beast of habit. This is turning out just like ME1 to ME2. Don't get your hopes up because Bioware will crush them like they crushed many of ours when ME2 hit.

I think Liara got a very interesting role in LotSB that improved her character and future impacts on the story substantially.

After fans made it known that they wanted Liara not to be shafted. Much time passed before Bioware caved in and gave Liara fans 'something' after making the mistake of shafting them. Especially with killable not stopping Garrus and Tali from returning.

Is the ozone hole going to be patched up when squaddies from ME2 return to ME3 ? There are no information so far about ME2 squad returning in ME3. It has been tweeded by Christina Norman or Casey Hudson that most squadmates will be confirmed during E3 presentation.

Ungrateful? Biowar makes these games to make money. If they alienate some fans than they wont buy. I've support Bioware even when they released DA2. Instead Bioware does just that and has learned nothing from ME1 to ME2.

I didn't want the VS to have a larger role. They were such a big jerk to me.

You were given that in ME2. I didn' have that option in any of the ME games if I wanted to see a majority of the content.

If BioWare wanted to shaft fanbases, they would've killed them off-screen, despite ANY choices you made.

Aaaaah... nothing beats the bad humor.
But seriously speaking, i understand you Elite. But as you can see, they are not really small characthers. Both of em can become your LI, and become more important in the game.
But then again, what gives the rights just to Tali and Garrus to be on ME3? I think they should have same kind of rights to all the characters. But then again Elite might have a point with Bioware supporting fanbases.
Anyway, I slightly agree with you.

Well, its natural that Bioware is supporting the fansbase. I mean, the characters that are popular and were invested in a larger chunk of story are more likely to cause emotional connections with players in the next instalments. Garrus has naturally grown over the course of the two games into Shep's best bro. They have had a good deal of development and a quite a bit of money was thrown into their development. You can't just throw away good invesments and the characters which became sort of a symbol of the franchise, next to Sheppard. And I'm sure we will see more ME2 squaddies as permanent squadmates in ME3. Just give it time till E3.

There's this great invention that lets people upload videos of almost any kind to the internet that went online 2005. I believe it's called...YouTube.

I've missed out on content in the games too, but you don't see me whine about it. I'm just going with what makes me happy.

I too hope Grunt returns so I can have my daily quota of double concussive shot along with Garrus while playing non-soldiers. I'd also like to see Mordin returning full time so I can have some quality chat at Normandy.

About the topic itself. Garrus and Tali are the 2 most popular characters so obviously they announce their return first. Yes it's unfortunate if the whole crew isn't returning and I can see it won't be since Thane is dying, Zaeed was just a merc and Samara was doing it for her Justicar code. I don't really see any reason for the rest to not return.

Think I started reading this when it was 12 or so pages long and I'm still only at page 15 so far. Keep it up.
