You don't know the entire ME3 cast yet. They might have replacemenets. Maybe Kal'Reegar and Solana Vakarian become recruitable. You can't assume that they don't have replacements yet.

If Bioware had listened to the whiny complainers before DA2, they wouldn't have changed the game so drastically from Origins.

You have read nothing thus you fail.
THis is about the fact that if Tali and gArrus die you lose massive content in ME3. If anyone else in ME2 dies you only lose a short and unimportant cameo that changes nothing.
