The statistics don't lie. Both characters always come out top in the polls. Plus you know there is that official list of stats that says Garrus was the most popular squad-mate. Too many facts for you?

No, they're the vocal bunch of these forums that have thrown fits since Mass Effect 1. Bioware has caved time and again. Now Tali and Garrus fans know that if they're unhappy all they need to do is whine and Bioware will give them special treatment over anyone else.

You obviously ignored my previous post, so I'll say it again... Why bother to complain for 3 straight hours non stop about such a minor thing? It staggers the mind!
Why risking angering the mods because of such a trivial matter? One should know better than blatantly tempting fate like that... Calm down and expose you opinion (because again, it's an OPINION) coherently and without attacking everyone who disagrees with you, you'll notice you yourself will be attacked less...

And let's assume you are right, what the h*ll do you think you can do about it? What bioware decides stands... So again, WHY BOTHER?

It's worth noting that at this point, we still don't know the effect of Tali and Garrus on ME3's plot, or the roles the ME2 squadmates could have.  For all we know, Jack and Grunt wind up as squadmates again (or something like that).  Or maybe there are two new characters you can't recruit if you have Tali and Garrus.  Unlikely, granted, but possible.

And it's also worth noting that Bioware kept track of people's playthrough data (assuming you didn't opt out of it.)  If I'm not mistaken, from what little data they've made public, Garrus was the squadmate most commonly brought along on missions.  That suggests a pretty good majority of the playerbase likes him, not just a vocal minority.  I'm not sure where Tali fits into the data, but it's also possible she has data backing up a decision to bring her back in ME3.

Are you telling me that  should shut up and let Bioware screw over the majority of its fanbase because Garrus and Tali Fans had whinned a lot in the past till they got there way?

Why should I not attack those that attack me? You see how many Garrus and Tali hypocrites threw the troll tag at everyone in this Topic that didn't agree with them? Or the prodding some do with their unconstructive posts or  the picture spamming when they can't make a coherient arguement?

No, I tried being civil in the past. They threw the first stone and continue to throw those stones. They never learn because what Bioware has done benefits their whinny agenda.

Common sense. There are more ME2 characters than Tali and Garrus. There are many fans for said characters. Thus all ME2 Character Fanbases are larger than Tali + Garrus Fanbase. They're just less vocal, whinny, and in your face about it.
