You fanboys are really sad, this looks worse then Warden's Keep which was a false advertising rip off. You people would probaly cheer for poop on a stick if Bioware stamped its logo on it.  I wish Bioware would start making some REAL dlc not this Microtransaction crap disguised as DLC.  Bioware should really focus on bringing its DLC quality up to speed with their game release quality.

Poopstick....I love it!

I will happily return to Ostagar, but c'mon Bioware, does ALL your special armour have to be heavy?

Indeed, id love to see more of the cloth/light / medium armours come in to the game as feel as tho especially for the mages that there is not  great deal of choice of robes to wear, and good looking robes at that. Most make us look like walking upholstered carpets

So more armour be nice for the non tanking classes.

Why pay for DLC when you can download mods?......suckers

because very few mods come clsoe to the official content released byd evelopers. 5 bucks? LMAo, get some jobs people, i spend more on coffeee in 1-2 days.

Are you serious? a hell of a lot of mods surpass even the original content let alone some crappy backtracking addon that lets you loot some dead retard's armour..... im glad the king died i was so happy

name one mod that touches DA's content? Oblivion has been modded to hell, very little in the way of story based content. I trust bioware mroe then modders, i ahve played mods for many games, very little in the way of great story based Mods, more gameplay changes and graphics, etc....

Easy. http://www.avlis.org

Its also stupid that people complain about hardly any DLC for Mass Effect and then complain when there they are making DLC for dragon age, I guess that proves you cant please everyone

You're looking at it in a very naive way. People just want value for their money. A 20-60 minute gaming experience for $5 is not indicative of that.

Go pick bottles. Enough bottles to fill one good urination session will cover your game. Oh, wait... Do you have to steal your mum's credit card? Jesus H is that a pain in the ass. I feel for you.

Why are you still posting - don't I irritate you?

I've finished the game so DLC content that's only accessible from before the final battle/area is somewhat lost on me. I'd much rather they did a proper full expansion than just adding little bits here and there. Sure when I next play through the game in the future I'll likely buy it.. if its still available then.

Ditto. I really wonder about this. Are they going to keep releasing bit that tie into the original campaign? How many people are going to go back and replay just for this?

Exactly.

I've almost completed my second play-through and have
little desire to play the campaign again. I do however have a strong
desire to continue playing the game with my existing characters. If
this DLC and all future DLC
does not 'pick up' after the end of the campaign then I'll most likely
pass on all of it and just play what the community creates.

While it is a great game with a great story the idea of an end in an RPG
is something I've never really liked, however I understand that it is
necessary due to the methods used to create this game and its story.
It's not like Fallout 3 for example where you most likely have things
left to do and you can just keepexploring, it is not hard to see everything, kill everything and talk to everyone in this game despite the length of it. I hate to sound negative but I'm afraid they will not put out any DLC
that continues the game, they will most likely save that for the sequel
as a piece of DLC like Broken Steal is not really an option for this
game.

Disagree. I've fed more than $5 in quarters into an arcade game in 60 minutes...

The problem is that developers who (are forced to) spend their time on this kind of content can't develop proper add-ons. That's the main problem for people like me who won't buy DLC, but very much would like to have real expansions to the game and are able and willing to wait for it as long as necessary.

I'll pay $5 for a new dungeon and loot any day. Keep it coming. :) Sure I'd also love to throw down more money for an even bigger expansion, but I'll take anything I can get as long as its priced right.

People will complain about anything. If you don't like it, don't buy it, very very simple concept.

Looks like the anologies have progressed from food to arcade games. Interesting.

Just hope Return to Ostagar could last for 2 hours.

Maybe we will surprisingly find Duncan is alive.

Good news, and for those complaining, you don't have to buy it and would you prefer they produce no more dlc's at all?

If it adds anything for Arcane Warriors that mitigates how much they suck at casting spells I'm all over it

We'd prefer they gave us a solid, meaty expansion pack instead.

Well yes, but you see.. Theres this lake by where I live and its kind of running dry these days. My hopes is that if I make you realise how much of a tight-ass you are you'll cry so much that my wonderful lake will be so full by summer that I'll be ripping out jackfish the whole time, negating my habit of visiting this cheese and whine show.

I've never seen so much disagreement over $5. I spend more on one beer. Now mind you I really enjoy my beer (Belgians are the best) but that enjoyment lasts about 15 minutes. I think I will be playing this DLC more then 15 minutes therefore it's worth it.

Don't worry an expansion pack is on the way. In about a year we will have much more content to play with. Did everyone want BioWare to support DLC as promised? It's DLC what did you expect? If you don't want it don't buy it. You can go thirsty. But I for one prefer that beer while watching the football match. :)

Whats the point of returning to Ostagar if youve already finished the game? You can't go back and redo the final battle with any thing you get from the DLC so if you dont have a game saved prior to the last fight its kind of pointless.

$5 is $5, its not making or breaking anyone but a new storyline would be nice, or even just the ability to fight some battles with your group after the game is completed.

I got Warden's Keep and The Stone Prisoner and they weren't bad, but i'll be passing on this i think. Or torrenting it.

Oh do please enlighten me as to what a "real gamer" is..

And a 100+ hours? I don't think so. I would have said it was more like 80 hours even with all the dlc of which I have all of bar the new one.

It was my general understanding that most people wanted to buy MW2 for the mutiplayer part of it not for the singplayer experience. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I know my brother will maybe spend 5 hours on the singleplayer, but I know he will be playing it with his buddies for a looong time on his Xbox. Myself I did not buy it due to poor handling of PC version.

To those who say not to whine about the DLC. I believe most of those stating their opinion on the DLC are doing just that, stating their opinion, on whether or not they will buy it. People are starting to argue with game companies with their wallets, whether they will buy it or won't.

Nobody seems to be flaming people who come on this thread and post: "Woot will buy!"
Why do others flame people who come on the thread to say: "I do not think this is worth my money."

I don't think anyone is expecting 5 hours worth of content, nor does it need to be 5 hours to be good. An hour-hour and a half with an interesting story behind it and I'd say money well spent.

That's a joke ?
One hour for 5 $ is rip-off. A decent game should be at least 30 hours, and cost between 50 and 60 bucks.
A DLC doesn't need to develop a graphic engine, nor to create and balance the rules, nor the world builder, nor nothing. It also doesn't involve distribution cost.
So it should be less than the ratio of the initial game, not more.
As such, it should not be more expensive than 1 $ per hour.
Which is why, if it's less than 5 hours of real content, it's not worth it.

I'm not sure what they'd advertise story wise without spoiling anything and for the $2 cheaper price, perhaps they felt Warden's Keep cost a bit to much and decided to drop this one a tad. Assumptions, all they are.

Because you can't advertise "large quests and new content included !" or something vague like that which would indicate that there is actual real content without spoiling ?
Let's be serious.
