I respect Bioware for the efforts and i will play this anyway but how about new and bigger campaigns half a year or something like that?

This dlc looks alot better than wardens keep, bioware works hard so we can play this and all you suckers can do is whine.

seriously

Sadly not everyone can be happy  and bigger better content takes time along with tender loving care to get it right. Just wish people knew how to wait for such things rather then rant like babies

I'll buy it, I'm just hoping the survivor is NOT Duncan.... He needs to remain dead.

Sound cool to me, can't wait!  Is this a addon for the ending or close to it?

I suspect there are a few development teams working on separate DLC projects. Some on little babies like this and others one normal sized babies and probably even one working on the fattest kid ever popped out in all of history!

Base of operations as in adding something like a Keep restoration aspect to the game where you can at least have something like I dunno, a training ground for fresh recruits? Or something close to it being a base of operations. I obviously did not mean it to take over the camp site, but actually function like one.

What's the point of reclaiming it 'for the Wardens' when in the end, it's just a glorified merchant shop for weirdos who like getting their asses frozen off.

Alright, that's fair. I wasn't expecting much personally but what you and CPZ said could be expected out of it. The only disappointment I had was I couldn't re-enter, however I guess it's possible if you kick the merchant out. I'll have to try that next time.

My god man, it's not about the money, it's the principle of the thing.

Bah, that sounds like something my girlfriend would say after losing an argument. "I doesn't matter if you're right, it's the principle of the thing."

As far as the DLC's go they may be small they may be big..but depending on what there aim is they could be used as extension to content in a patch content that can only be accessed by having that DLC installed. Not saying you should buy the DLC but dont bash it either cause you could end up regretting it later on down the road.

"Not all things are as they appear" A good qoute to remeber for those who are crying about the content.

Hmm since I haven't finished the game, I don't know what you mean... and now I'm scared. :(

It's $5. Skip your lunch (god knows, most of you need it) for one day and there you have it. No need to cry and ruin it for people who want more DLC.

Amen, brother.

I'm glad that I can be back to Ostagar. To be truthfull, I wanted to lead an incursion back there since my first gameplay. 400 points? I think there are Premium Sets that are just as expensive and not that usefull in the least.

I look forward to this DLC, just as I found both The Stone Prisoner and The Warden's Keep to bring additional lore and add depth behind the world in Dragon Age, this will most likely tie even more so, better into the main storyline and hopefully provide additional lore to read up on. Being one of the people who have nothing at all against DLC content for games I like, I won't blame publishers and developers for taking use of DLC with all the piracy that's going on around the computer scene. If I don't like the game enough to pay for additional DLC content, well then I won't buy it--and I have no specific need to express that I won't buy it to everyone and be negative about it and/or call people suckers and worse just because they do. Anyways:

• A second chance to add Dog to your party

Is this what they refer to with:

* To find the survivor play through Dragon Age: Origins until after the village of Lothering and Journey to Bann Loren's Lands along the Bannorn's northwest border.

or are they hinting to an additional party member? And if so, I would find the $5 to be cheap, considering The Stone Prisoner costs $15 with all the extra fluff you get with Shale. I can't wait, I wish it was out for this weekend!

I might actually get this one. I still haven't cared to get WK but maybe after my first playthrough. Bioware can you give a bundle deal this and WK for $10?

Ok I am fairly sure this DLC can be accessed even after you finish the game, as anyone who finished the game knows that the game gives you the opportunity to play on in DLC areas. It assumes that you are playing the game before your character beat the final level.

I don't like this DLC model, though, they are adding small areas and charging for it. I prefer full-fledged expansions, where you have a new game using the same engine, maybe 15-20 hours, with some new skills and completely new characters. I hope they are working on a real expansion which they can release in a year or so.

The price doesn't bother me .. having completed the game and then realised I can't go back and finish the side quests, I started two new toons anyway (one of which is like lvl 13 or something). Tbh it should be fun .. but, I can't help thinking that I'd prefer something with more meat, or more regular DLCs.

I wonder if th next dlc or so will be set before the ending of the game as well. Ill keep a save file just in case. This one is a moment in time before the final battle for those with epilogue save.
