This dlc looks alot better than wardens keep, bioware works hard so we can play this and all you suckers can do is whine.
seriously
Sadly not everyone can be happy and bigger better content takes time along with tender loving care to get it right. Just wish people knew how to wait for such things rather then rant like babies

I'll buy it, I'm just hoping the survivor is NOT Duncan.... He needs to remain dead.
If its duncan, they have to change the whole ending and stuff!

I suspect there are a few development teams working on separate DLC projects. Some on little babies like this and others one normal sized babies and probably even one working on the fattest kid ever popped out in all of history!

Base of operations as in adding something like a Keep restoration aspect to the game where you can at least have something like I dunno, a training ground for fresh recruits? Or something close to it being a base of operations. I obviously did not mean it to take over the camp site, but actually function like one.
What's the point of reclaiming it 'for the Wardens' when in the end, it's just a glorified merchant shop for weirdos who like getting their asses frozen off.
Alright, that's fair. I wasn't expecting much personally but what you and CPZ said could be expected out of it. The only disappointment I had was I couldn't re-enter, however I guess it's possible if you kick the merchant out. I'll have to try that next time.
My god man, it's not about the money, it's the principle of the thing.
Bah, that sounds like something my girlfriend would say after losing an argument. "I doesn't matter if you're right, it's the principle of the thing."

As far as the DLC's go they may be small they may be big..but depending on what there aim is they could be used as extension to content in a patch content that can only be accessed by having that DLC installed. Not saying you should buy the DLC but dont bash it either cause you could end up regretting it later on down the road.
"Not all things are as they appear" A good qoute to remeber for those who are crying about the content.

Hmm since I haven't finished the game, I don't know what you mean... and now I'm scared.

It's $5. Skip your lunch (god knows, most of you need it) for one day and there you have it. No need to cry and ruin it for people who want more DLC.
Amen, brother.

Is this what they refer to with:• A second chance to add Dog to your party
* To find the survivor play through Dragon Age: Origins until after the village of Lothering and Journey to Bann Loren's Lands along the Bannorn's northwest border.
or are they hinting to an additional party member? And if so, I would find the $5 to be cheap, considering The Stone Prisoner costs $15 with all the extra fluff you get with Shale. I can't wait, I wish it was out for this weekend!

I don't like this DLC model, though, they are adding small areas and charging for it. I prefer full-fledged expansions, where you have a new game using the same engine, maybe 15-20 hours, with some new skills and completely new characters. I hope they are working on a real expansion which they can release in a year or so.
