I'm not sure that this is the correct place where to write it but i hope so.
 I'm a ps3 user and yesterday i started to play Mass Effect 2. In the ps3 version of the game there is a code that allow the player to download the bonus contents (2-3 mission, not sure about how many).
Does anyone know what i have to do to play it without starting a new game?
I mean...if i go ahead and for example i save before using the portal to Omega 4.(the only spoiler, please forgive me)
and then i download the dlc, will i be able to play the dlc?
I'm going to finish the game two times, the second one loading the character from the previous game.

I just would like to understand if i'll have to play it a third time just to reach the point of the dlc and play it or if i can reload a saved game where the missions will now be avaible. The game, from what i've understood, is quite long, and instead of playing it a third time i would prefer to wait.

Sorry if my english wasn't so good but it's not my first language.

You dont have to start a new game... After beating the game you can complete all the DLC by just loading the latest save file.

All DLC is playable before you enter the Omega 4 Relay so the save you make before will have access to it all or you can load any completed save and continue on with the DLC

The answer is essentially yes. When you install a DLC it will become available immediatedly, even if you are in the middle of the game, or if you have finished the suicide mission already. It will also become available in all your saves. You don't need to start a new game.

Keep in mind though that some DLCs, such as LotSB, only activate after you have reached a certain point in the story, so if you load a save from very early in the game, they won't be available until you reach that point.
