My canon Shep is Spacer, war hero, ashley and miranda have been a LI.

Also I use default shep.

Many stories exist surrounding the enigmatic Commander Shepard but the true tale isn't one that's widely known.
Sereia Shepard was born on Mindoir, a small border colony in the Attican Traverse.
When she was sixteen, slavers raided Mindoir, slaughtering her family
and friends. Saved by a passing Alliance patrol, and she
enlisted with the military a few years later. In the first years, the Alliance discovered her latent Biotic potential and through rigorous training became a Biotic Adept.


During her service, a mission she was on went horribly wrong. Trapped
in an extreme survival situation, she had to overcome physical torments
and psychological stresses that would have broken most people. Sereia's unit was slaughtered in a thresher maw attack on Akuze.
She
survived while all those around her fell, and now she alone is left to
tell the tale.

A romance blossumed between her and an Asari scientist, a certain Liara T'soni, who was later to take control as the Shadow Broker.

Sereia's past has hardened her past the point to where most people break, but if her hardships had taught her anything, it was that mercy and the hope of a better tomorrow could be the most deadly weapons of all. In a near suicidal attempt to attack the Collectors at their homeworld, she brought all of her team through the fires. She later went on to bring peace between the Geth and their former masters, the Quarians, and cured the Genophage.

Supports inter-species peace and diversity, but remembers that he's Alliance at heart. Sees Cpt. Anderson as a pseudo-father figure. Almost always saves civilians over military. Anti-Cerberus,
says working with Illusive Man makes his skin crawl, but becomes good friends with Miranda and Jacob.

Romanced Ashley, who sadly died on Virmire, blames himself for not being fast enough to save her. (saved Kaidan and the Salarians, as Normandy was closer)

Killed Rachni Queen, didn't want another war with Krogan inhibited and Geth still a threat.
Spared colonists and Shiala on Feros
Managed to talk Saren down on the Citadel Tower
Saved Council, Anderson as Councilor

Reinstated as Spectre
Gained everyone's loyalty, thus ensuring their survival
Blew up Heretic station
Held on to genophage cure for "a rainy day"
Romanced Tali (mourning for Ash is over, but misses her)
Saved crew, blew up Collector base, suggested a good place for Illusive Man to shove it
(oh yeah!)
was nice to Conrad Verner on both occasions, facepalms ensue

Looks like a cross between Indipendence Day era Will Smith and President Obama, unintentional but still kinda funny

My canon: Sole Survivor, Earthborn, Engineer, paragade.

She's a green eyed ginger to boot! She was my first in ME1 and 2 so she's up first when ME3 comes out. I can't wait but I can honestly say I'll be genuinely sad when it's over. I've put a lot of time and effort in all my Shep but this one most of all. All good things must come to an end I guess and this has been the best gaming experience I've had thus far.

You pick one of these 3 for background: Earthborn AND ruthless, Colonist AND sole survivor or Spacer AND War Hero.
Since these combinations give optimal bonuses to either paragon or renegade, it makes no sense to mix them up.

My canon= Femshep infiltrator. Spacer-War hero who followed paragon route. Virmire:Wrex lives, Kaiden and Salariens survived whilst Ash died.
ME1 all paragon choices were taken. Rachni live, council live all side missions done.
Romanced Liara.
ME2 all Paragon choices were taken. Renegade prompts were taken when it would make the game easier. (played on insanity for ME2) All side missions including DLC were completed to the best possible Paragon score. 
Everyone survives SM, Base explodes and Miranda leaves Cerby.

- Got the loyalty of everybody on ME2
- Kept the Krogan cure
- Reprogramed the Geth. (Still find this decision difficult, due to ethical considerations.)
- Got the absolution for Tali and advocated for peace.
- Killed Morinth
- Saved the Factory Workers
- Saved Aresh
- Imprison Jacob's father
- Saved both Kollyat and the Turian politician
- Convinced Garrus not to kill Sidonis
- Kept Keiji's greybox (not sure)
- All Survived the Suicide Mission (Including Crew)
- Destroyed the base

I have two - a paragon and renegade. (Spoilers)

Naoko - Colonist, Sole Survivor, Paragon, saved Kaiden, saved the Council, saved the Rachni Queen, convinced Saren to kill himself, paragon options in all loyalty missions, anti-Cerberus, destroyed Collector base, Thane and crew died in suicide mission (sorry Kelly and the gang). Romanced no one in ME1, then Garrus in ME2.

Judith - Earthborn, Ruthless, mostly Renegade, saved Ashley, spared Council, killed Rachni Queen, convinced Saren to kill himself, renegade options in all loyalty missions, neutral about Cerberus, destroyed the Collector base, Tali died in the suicide mission (but crew survived this time). Romanced Liara in ME1, no one in ME2.

Stefan Shepard, spacer, sole survivor, soldier. Pretty much everything Paragon except for killing the Rachni Queen. ME1 romance: no one, ME2 romance: Jack.

Edit: oh and I sacrificed Kaidan and everyone survived the suicide mission. )

DAMN!!!...My paragon Earth Born/War Hero canon Shep is RUINED...........My lame excuse......wanted to feel like he actually does understand, when he says it to someone in a sh*tty situation...........
