hi guys,
thought in preparation for SWTOR, i'd refresh on this old classic and bought via Steam (running Windows 7).
Now, after downloading, i started up straight away, and got into the game. I then remember there was an old patch. So found patch 1.03, downloaded and installed.
Now when i try starting the game, it says to insert the game disc!! Absolutely no idea what i need to do, couldn't see a similar issue on the other threads.

I'm afraid I don't understand the choice of a really elderly thread without an answer? There were others, almost certainly, (please don't try to rely on the terrible on-site Finder function that was broken when originally designed, three years ago, and never repaired). We will need better information to deal with your question, if re-searching the archives while using a professional engine doesn't give you what you need. Refer to the other message you posted in that regard, and pick only one of the two to continue with, please.

I just installed the game on Steam, after ME I'll try finish KOTOR. I don't get the idea some of you to patch a Steam game. Why? i mean it's a classic title, which means it's already patched, especially on digital versions. I'm also checked the exe says 1.0.3.0 version. Since that official patch is maded for retail version don't suprise the game will ask for the disk.
