december has two holidays in its holiday season so they figure just moved it back to the second holiday, so still the release date is not wrong and will arrive like they said it would this holiday season.


I may have to check my date book, but I'm pretty sure new year's day is in January.

Oh dear. 10am here in Aus, 25 th Dec. Still no update??? Come on Bioware tell us what went wrong.

According to the staff there going with the last day of december as a holiday.

but from seeing Return to ostagar i think about 70% of the people that are complaining are still going to complain about how its a waste. So everyone just go enjoy your holiday  and when its here its here, but its worth the wait.

Honestly i think its all a big marketing scam, they release vauge info on DLC people will want to make sure they have points for go get the points then closeing to christmas they have all these promotions where stuff costs less points but RTO isnt release so people who bought points hopeing for RTO buy other things with those points because most gamers are gunna get more points for the holidays anyways

i think they should make a DLC like the add ons for oblivion, i mean they took like 20hrs or less to do, i like long add ons ^^, an i also think they should make it so men can have romance with alistair.....i dont want to play a girl to get the achievement.......

Oh and no offense but for those of you in Europe, Asia, Australia, etc where it is Dec 25th... it doesn't count as the same Dec 25th as it does in Canada/US in regards to releases.



IF they had said will release on Dec 25th, they mean US/CAN time and it doesn't mean MIDNIGHT either.

So.......as ineloquent as your post is, you have
a point. We all have the points bought, and might get more points for the
holidays and then feel we HAVE TO buy the less than impressive add on
just to use the points. G-o-o-d  p-o-i-n-t!!!



Or..........gaming companies need to hire better marketing people so they don't
come off like big %$#@ teases.

Or..........plan and execute the DLC(s) in advance of the release of the game.

Or..........make the original game long enough so we are not waiting around for
a promised DLC.



Companies who make RPGs really need to understand that the low re-playability
of their games makes DLC more desirable, so having them actually ready
before the release of a game means they can gauge the community better and
release them after they feel enough people are in their second play through.
Many here are on their third and fourth.



Seriously, most gamers fly through games. I for one love story line, and
take my sweet ass time, and even I am bored now. I can imagine how
the power gamers feel.



Perhaps the government or better business bureau SHOULD view a gaming
company’s marketing strategy as false advertising if deemed appropriate. I mean,
how many times has McDonalds announced a new item, but then you go to one of
their units and they say, well we were held up? Ummm.....NEVER.



Like I always say; traditional customer service does not apply to gaming, and
the gaming companies benefit that the powers that be view gaming as frivolous
entertainment.

i would of like dragon age sooooo much more if it was a open map thing like oblivion, ^^ kinda sad but i liked to explore on games an oblivion provided that, not that i dont love dragon age because i do its a great game..but i just want more places to go v.v....plus more legendary weapons
