Or, the lack of communication could be because, y'know, it's likely still Christmas Day where they are and they'd rather enjoy it with their families.

Oh? I was sure Bethesda announced the DLC for Fallout 3 was always meant to be for just the 360 & PC. Though 'A version may possibly be made abailable for the PS3... One day'. may have been mentioned. Then you finally got them in fairly sharp order.
And I somehow doubt that EVERY Bioware staff member gets two full weeks off for christmas... My money is on them all having been sacked.

Stop being so pessimistic, those guys are probably busting their butts just to make it all perfect and to top it off they have people screaming at them to hurry up and probably when it does come out you will whine some more and say oh its too short or some other junk just so you can feel good about yourself. If you really want to play the DLC then you will not mind having to wait a little bit longer. I am a little dissapointed in the lack of communication but what if this is just because they are releasing it like tomorrow or something? Anyways don't let this discourage you from getting the DLC, these guys worked hard on it so they deserve to be compensated for it a little bit.

Honestly, it's kinda typical of BioWare. They're GREAT on the games, but when it comes to DLC, eh, not so great. How long did Mass Effect go between the first and second DLCs? It's a great game, but I don't think anyone is ever going to buy a BioWare game thinking, "And they're SURE to have tons of great DLCs, expansions, and whatnot!" If that's what someone's looking for, Bethesda's the way to go. Between Oblivion and Fallout 3, they've probably put out more DLC than any other RPG maker, and good DLC at that.
Maybe by, "Holiday season," they meant Labor Day weekend of 2010.

at least it will be re-playable so 5$ isn't too bad considering what you can get that doesn't last nearly as long......and you can't reuse a cup of coffee O.o

If you buy $4.00 cups of coffee you enjoy getting ripped off.
If you compare consumable goods to a video game you enjoy making horrible analogies.

I don't buy $4 cups of starbuck burnt coffee. I buy bulk whole bean online with free shipping.
