voda could be vaguely interpreted as a generic Slavic enunciation of the word "water," written in Latin text as opposed to Cyrillic.

i have no idea what he's saying with the other words, but if he's telling me to drink more water, отъебись!

Yap is turkish for make, and your right voda is slovak for water the middle word seemed to be gibberish though to throw us off. lol

No, it means a moderator is here, and is "pruning" the more hysterical / outlandishly outraged posts from the thread.

Bioware devs are probably at home with their families / enjoying a short break.

I'd encourage you and everyone to keep the world in perspective and not get yourself whipped up into a frenzy over an incredibly minor thing.

The DLC will be out when it's out.

Whether it's "late" or not does not matter.

It's not worth complaining that it's late.

It's not worth telling people "it's not late".

Relax, go do something else for a few days.

hm, sorry bud if is something go late or will be late, then say "ok for some reason .........late" i think alot of us no whine (ok some whine because delay) matter of this problem is vague  - "this holiday season"
and for delething or modering - ok is you work and law and i respect this (spam, rude post go delete) - bud if you say "is not worth complaining that it's late / it's not worth telling people it's not late" some people see this as - "get lost trash, because you only whine for some stupid matter"
i understand that dev and group worker need pause i know what pain in *** is sw programing

Once again people:
1) Relax and calm down.
2) Go do something else.
3) Bioware will announce when the DLC is released.
4) Buy it (if you want) and play it then.
Complaining about stuff is just wasting your time. No amounts of cries of betrayal and pr disaster and other nonsense is going to make any difference in the world. It's just screaming into an abyss of bits.
If it makes you feel better, fine, post your complaint and then go do something fun with your free time.
If it reinforces your frustration, then take a breath and walk away.
Life is a series of challenges, and quite frankly, a late release of some DLC content for a computer game barely even counts as a challenge. It's something you shrug at and move on to something else for now.

Thank you, Torias.  You have just made my future gaming decisions for me, rather who I WON'T be purchasing software from.  This goes back to my first post, and BioWare's biggest problem...bad business.

Hello Mr. Customer, I see you are interested in purchasing this house/car/computer/cup of coffee/comic book, but "life is a series of challenges" and we are simply not professionals and therefore we cannot provide you with your product at this time.  Don't get upset!  "It's something you shrug at and move on to something else for now."

Well, I have moved on.  I have moved on to anything that doesn't have a BioWare label attached to it.  You have insulted me, your customer, and my hard earned money.  Don't worry, though, I will continue to use and abuse your Dragon Age:  Origins title.  I will likely use and abuse your future products, as well.  You won't have to worry about my complaints, though, as I will likely be obtaining all of your future releases via B i t T o r r e n t or the like.  I would have gladly paid for them, but I can't bring myself to, now.  It's a matter of principle, you see.

I am also in the process of cancelling our orders for BioWare's products.  Oops, I didn't mention that I am the software buyer for the chain of computer stores that I co-own.  Gee, you didn't see that one coming, did you?  When my customers ask why we don't carry your titles, I'll show them this response, and explain that, for BioWare  "life is a series of challenges" and given BioWare's unreliability and poor customer service, we have chosen to spare you, our customer, the frustration of dealing with them.  If you want it, order it, but you won't find it here.  We appreciate you as a customer and don't want to be associated with any problems you may have with them.

I have seen, perhaps the largest television ad campaign for DA: O than for any release in YEARS.  It's a shame that you couldn't have spent a little of that massive advertising budget on meeting your own, self imposed deadlines.  In the end, how can you measure how much business you have lost due to this?  This thread alone is reaching 200 pages and is being posted on by your disenfranchised customers every minute.  Surely I am not the only one who has a bad taste in their mouth from this.

Thanks again for showing me how I am a valued customer.

In all seriousness, Torias should probably be fired by Bioware. I really don't think that's how Bioware wants to present itself; and if it is then I'll never buy another Bioware product again.

@Broken1477 Excellent post.

Thanks, Legion.

I am in the process of collecting and forwarding Torias' posts to BioWare's management, as I fully agree.  It's like when they used to have "Hall Monitors" in high schools.  "I have the Moderator Badge so I can say whatever I want to whomever I want."  BioWare is a public company and is,subsequently, easy enough to contact for matters such as this.

Game On!

Well don't forget it is Christmas. You have concede them the right to rest and spent some time with their families too. A computer game is certainly not so crucial that there is the need to staff a poor soul at the office during the holidays.

Just a guess, but they may have a real life.

Computer game or not...business is business...there is transaction/money involved...have a deadline, follow it. Now just because it's Christmas the mail/packages will stop from coming/on transit or whatever...

Would people just relax if their preordered game didn't come on time? Of course not. If they did relax, then they're the type of people that doesn't want to get their money's worth

Although I agree Torias' choice of words is not superb, neither Torias nor any of us can control when the Dev's release the new DLC. As it is, having already released 2 DLC's within the first few months of release and planning to release a third shortly is nothing less then spectacular. I appreciate the Dev's taking their time with this and ensuring that they release a quality product, I don't mind waiting a little while longer, might as well just sit back and relax while we wait.

...and I thought mostly women are hysterical. Silly me. Guys, what's your problem? BioWare said 'holiday SEASON'. They haven't broken this deadline yet. You what sort of don't have anything more important to do? Some attention to your family perhaps? No? Sad.

And by the way, you ask...hmm bad word...you DEMAND respect from devs, and how about respecting THEM? It's their holiday season TOO. So behave like grown-ups and show if not respect, than at least gratitude. BioWare is doing a great job.

Gee, I had a plan October 1 to ensure that all of my work responsibilities would be carried out in enough time for me to take time off for Christmas.  I also had a plan for everyone who works for me to ensure that their responsibilities would be completed so they could do the same.  I took care of business.  I saw to it that everything went smoothly and everyone involved got their time off WITHOUT compromising the integrity of my business.  Certainly SOMEONE at BioWare, a company founded by three medical doctors, who employs hundreds has the combined brainpower to put together a PLAN.  Simple business management, not brain surgery, docs.

Maybe you should consider stop playing DAO and visiting the forum if this matter is serious to you.
Sometimes a nice walk, or riding your bicycle can help you see thing clear.
After all it's just a game and DLC a small combat orientated quest.

Yep I agree there is nothing we can do, and the DEV's should have some time off for the holidays to spend time with their families. Stone prioner was a great DLC, Wardens keep just felt Unfinished to me, and waiting for Ostagar is fine as long as they make a good product. Torias's choice of words were far from superb, and should be a little less personally involved with his/her comments. I have not been on forums for quite awhile but I have been stricken by how over-moderated and run like a dictatorship this forum seems to be.

The people on here are the costumers who pay their paychecks not employees to be ordered around with their own personal opinion on what is appropriate or aka/eula certified. People sometimes need to blow off steam, or exchange points of view or just add some humor to a discussion to break the seriousness of the moment. From what I've seen the members here are pretty considerate and open to civalized discussion. Not all but some the actions of the moderators seem to make it more of a Hostile enviorment in my opinion.

@broken1477 nice post, and the others that also spoke up with integrity without lowering themselves to name calling and such. They do need to work on their customer service, and how they relate in talks with such, and all I ask is if the addon is delayed fine but please change the ad for it on the homepage to delayed coming soon. Instead of just saying it's late so what it's a minor thing. If you were a owner of a business and used that line on your customers or investors you would not be in business very long.
