From what I recall, they said they were having problems with the PS3 version and their achievement system. I can't remember exactly what the post said, so don't quote me on it, but I remember something about january 1st-2nd. I'm also to impatient to go search for it.TastyLaksa wrote...
It'll be funny what people will say when it turns out that they didn't add anything to ostagar other than achievements.
Some people seem to assume that the delay was cause they added content when Bioware already posted that the reason why they lowered the price is cause there was no added content.
See bioware. Release late again will you?

All the delay means is it will be better when it gets here.
No it doesn't. They weren't adding anything new except an achievement/trophy. So no, it's not going to be any better than it would have been had it been released last week or two weeks ago.

many developers are just using it as an excuse to make extra money (quickly) from
their fans. Look at the implementation
scheme for Warden’s Keep. The game puts
you in a lengthy dialogue piece that envelops the player, only to be shattered
by a bolded; straight to the point “Would you like to download this content”.
I have no problem buying DLC, but I do have a problem when
the developers care more about themselves then their own product. You can’t honestly sit there and tell us that
the two add-ons you have released so far are worthy of the consumers money. Both take an hour or less to complete, and
both are interesting, but they are not any better then what a skilled modder alone,
could produce over a well invested week.
Dragon age, I am already at 100 hours in the game and that
cost me 62.99. Now, the two add-ons cost
me 22 extra dollars.
Dragon Age-100 + hours 62.99
2 add-ons-2 hours-22.00
Total-102 hours for $84.99
Seems like a sham to me.

I'll just say it quickly...
ACHIEVEMENTS ARE FOR PERSONAL SATISFACTION!
Anyway, I google'd Return to Ostagar achievements, and it said that 360's will get an achievement... I must have missed that...

I just have to keep reminding myself that the game itself is still fairly new. Maybe some of the designers that play could get together and make some lengthy side adventures like, for example, going to Tevinter with Shale or a world tour of Orlais to find the grey wardens and see Leliana's Past. Depending on your actions and choices at the end of the game, the game could go further.
My only qualm is that they intend to charge so much for very little content that, ultimately, has no impact on the endgame or gameplay itself. The DLC should be alot more integrated into the story line. Especially since all DLC happens before the game ends.
Anyways, i'm looking forward to "Return to Ostagar", i'm just hoping bigger and better things are in the works.
