Dialogue:

Lilliana: I sense something awful has gone here, the maker has turned his back on this place *blah* *blah* *maker bull***** *blah*  Alistair i sense you are not at ease. Is something troubling you?

Allistair: *sad face* this...this is where it happened. This is where we were betrayed, where we lost duncan

Morrigan: ohhh is the poor bastard going to cry...pity, and here i was starting to think you were a big boy. *laugh*

Allistair: YOU STUPID B*TCH !!!! I SHOULD CUT YOU DOWN WHERE YOU STAND

ME:

• (persuade) Dont talk to my wife that way, besides she was only teasing.
• You will die with your words! (Attack Allistar)
• (Kiss Him) <---probly a glitch
• I will help (Attack Morrigan)

Morrigan: Hes right you know, twas only a joke

Lilliana: It's not right to tease him at a time like this. I know a story of an ancient warrior teasing the maker after the death of Andraste...(*rambling)

Morrigan: Oh please not this again, let me guess; the maker responded by removing his genitals and making him fall in love with a male desire demon.

Lilliana: I see you have heard the tale before. So then you know the moral of the story is to never tease the-

Morrigan: (stabs lilliana) oops...i seemed to have slipped

Allistair: You crazy witch! Have you gone mad?!? Who is the hell is going to pick the locks now?

Morrigan: Tis true, very well then (*casts Revive) your lucky i specialized in spirit healing.

Lilliana: YOU STUPID LITTLE B*TCH

ME:

• Whoa there take it easy
• Theres no need for name calling
• Hey there you guys are turnin me on. Might a suggest a Very Hawt three-way?
• (stay silent)

Morrigan: well then the man i seemed to marry knows how to party! very well then.

Allistair: *blushing* um...might i asking...that...um how do i say this? Can i join you?

Lilliana: It would not be right for us to entice you and deny you of your wishes. Very well you shall get your wish.

(Cutscene)
Queue romantic music
Fade to black
(moans and groans)
(Allistair-"What in the maker is that?!?!)

Yes, that's true, but he HAS replied in amongst the 144 pages.

That trick of clicking the bioware icon is always useful, lets you quickly check to see if he HAS replied since you last visited :-)

For the folks that don't know, here's basically how it works: First you decide you want to make more DLC. Then you ask your people how long it will take them, so that you can come up with a release date for the PR/Marketing department. The programmers do their thing and then send it to the playtesters to see if they find any bugs (test-fix-retest). Then you go "gold" and hang it on the website as available DLC. Once this is done, you have hopefully met your release date.

If you don't meet your release date, you either: a) your programmers took longer than anticipated your people quit on you and you had to hire new ones c) you ran out of money d) they playtesters took longer than you anticipated d) you really just picked a date out of your head and didn't ask your people what the realistic release date should be e) you thought your people wouldn't mind working over the Holidays...etc.

I for one have gone ahead and purchased the $5 worth of Bioware points so that it at least alleviates the "ran out of money" problem. Heck, I'm deployed to Iraq so it ain't like I got anything else to spend it on. So if it turns out that there's a management issue and it's late, or if it finally comes out and is not worth (too short) the $5, then it is only $5. Besides, we'll end up paying less for it than the Democrats' Health Care Bill...and at least we WANT the DLC.

If you want to include the XBOX and PS3, it needs to go through both Microsoft and Sony certification processes at the end.

Last thing we heard was that it was still going through the Sony certification process.

And since DLC is a very new business model, with a limited audience (only the people who've already bought the game and are comfortable buying things over the internet), I'd guess they want to go for a simultaneous release to maximise their publicity of it (who knows if there is any marketing budget allocate to promote the DLC).

Right...didn't plan on going that much into the weeds though.



But since you bring up platforms...how about a version for the WII where we actually get some exercise swinging swords, shooting arrows, and throwing spells? Maybe turn the controller to unlock? Use the WII Fit board to walk? That would've been nice to have to keep my arse from hurting after sitting at the keyboard and console for so long.

my gamer score is .. well on 360, my gamer tag is Grief Tactic... thats like 35-45 hundred. anyone wanna play the better score game?? i have only 3 games played though so its a low score for now im tryin to lose my girlfriend now so i can devote more of my waking hours to WOW type games and complaining online about how i need to tell people how to do there job which is all i will have left when she leaves me. then i can be in the big club that has formed on this thread.

Are you suggesting it's impossible to have a GF and play wow? Cause many people make it work you know. Heck some even raid in wow, work and have a GF. Not that they sleep much though.

If it comes out this week before the 1st that will be ok. If it does not AND there is no word from BioWare then it may very well affect my decision on it's purchase. It may also affect my MassEffect/2 purchase because it's becoming quite a pattern with BioWare.

I am not saying i am rolling in cash but the price of the DLC doesnt matter to me anymore. I dont care if they bump the price to $10. I just want a DLC that is a major improvement on Wardens keep (story-line wise) and consistent updates whatever the stage of development/release.

i agree with Foreman20. this is effecting my faith in bioware products especialy mass effect 2. once u prove urself to not care about the fanbase that supports ur company not just u rob but all the tedious programers in design everyone.. im not mad its late since i never recieved a exact date and im not disapointed in DA but bioware hasnt posted a single thread i mean come on have a intern monitor it on ur Vay-K to placate or Faith in the company that has done us right in the past but as we can see from the Obama-nation everything has changed for the worst.. at least if we all bail on bioware obama will Bail them out..

Actually, I find this thread is affecting my faith in the Bioware community. Yes, by all means, let's drag politics into a video game forum. Because that's super cool, has everything to do with the topic of this thread, and always ends well. Please let's try to keep this thread on topic and our personal opinions about life, the universe, and everything out of it.
