So your saying tweeking isnt fixing? And i didnt mean they were adding to the dlc i meant that they had some fixing to do and they're lowering the price, and also somewhere early on in here when rob said they wouldnt be adding an achievement for this dlc some people were a little upset (not neccesarily angry) all im saying is they are trying to accomodate everyones needs and by doing that everyones getting more angry. I think the only dlc debate worse than this is when people think that "map packs" should be free

They weren't tweaking anything. They
added achievements (because that's apparently what they got out of
people complaining about $5 for one hour of gameplay and a few items),
and found a problem in the 360 version that needed to be fixed. Those
achievements are what caused the DLC to have to go back through
certification. Nothing was being added. Nothing was being changed. They
just added code for achievements.Rob Bartel wrote...
Hi everyone. Sorry for not popping in and providing another update sooner. Based on some of the feedback in this thread, we made the decision to revisit Return to Ostagar and make some small improvements, including the addition of a new Ostagar-specific achievement/trophy and a reduction in the price. This has required a patch/title update and some additional testing and certification. This has pushed our dates back and I can confirm that the PS3 version will not arrive until the New Year. For PC and X360, we're still working hard to get it out in time for Christmas but we're not out of the woods quite yet. We'll put out another press release once we're 100% confident of the dates.
Thanks for your patience and I hope you enjoy the adventure once it's finally available.
For Ferelden!

One possible solution (and it may
come to that) is that all content gets held until the PS3 version is
fully signed off. It's simply a matter of Sony's certification process
taking longer than those on the other platforms (PC is the quickest,
then Xbox, then PS3). Generally, we try to budget sufficient time in
our schedules to accommodate that but, in this particular case, our
late-stage changes started eating into that extra time that we had set
aside. As a result, a Christmas release of the PS3 version became
impossible. Right now, we're on the knife edge to see if we can get the
X360 version out in time - they did find a critical issue that we're
currently working hard to fix. PC still appears to be on track but
anything can happen.

It's strange because no matter how many times I play through this game, i still find going through it again just as enjoyable. Great game.

Indeed, and I'm jonesing something fierce for more DA content, but it'll be ready when it's ready. Besides, I have to go play Mass Effect again before ME2 is released in a few weeks.

I dont know what they did to the game but somehow through some way (most likely blood magic) they have successfully developed crack that is delivered through the gamers choice of platform.

Man, all this wait for DLC has made me decide that as soon as I get a job, I am saving 5000+ cash and getting me a pc that can run DAO, yey mods and toolset

I built one for $500 that can run it on high settings just fine. No need to waste 5k. Much cheaper to build your own, and it's easy enough my 7 year old could do it as long as he had instructions to follow when putting it together.

Never played ME and I'm still debating on ME2.. They both look like shooter games and I've never been able to get into those. How does ME compare to DA? Other than one being fantasy and the other more sci-fi(?), are they similar in any way?
