well thats not what i would hope for...i would hope it would be coming out for ps3 soon because rob stated that it most likely will come out at the same time for all platforms and ps3 has the longer certification process

Kinda disappointed here because I'm curious how much time they'll need to create a -let's say- 20 hours expansion. There is a "crisis" with an 1 hour DLC already.

they had no problem creating this, they just got some negative feed back about the price and they had some minor fixes, they then decided to add an achievement (a good decision i think) so they had to test to make sure that it could be triggered because to my understanding they had issues with the day one dlc with that, and then to top it off it has to be recertified because of the changes that were made

i will agree though the decision to put achievements was a good idea but to many people started complaining go figure right.true it may have been ready but then any changes you make must be certified.

ya i know its getting to the point where Bioware could announce that they will pay you 20$ to download it but have to set it back another week and people would get even more mad, i mean seriously

As someone playing this on a PC, I couldn't really care less about achievements.



Kind of disappointed at how long it's taking to get one-hour (at most) of new content out the door. That said, I appreciate that they are committing to this kind of content - it's great to be able to continue adventuring with these characters we've become personally invested in, rather than just playing the same story over again. Personally, I'll be a happy man if I never have to play that long trek through the fade ever again, haha.



Just please get it out, so I can buy it! And maybe commit to releasing some longer expansions down the road? One hour is a nice diversion, but not much else.

So no One really knows the date ???? I have the points expecting it to be out before Christmas but still waiting. No announcement on website either, no hint but Holiday , well HMMM it was not Thanksgiving, not Christmas, will it be New Years????? Which Holiday season? How about Valentines Day, or Easter? I keep checking everyday and no new info or download now, found myself playing World of warcraft again...Waiting

You can thank the long process they have to wade through to get it certified, for no reason at all... <_<

well you've made it very clear you are new here so ill be the first to welcome you into this mess some people could call home. I personally wouldnt make that comparison to me this is undoubtedly more like the deep roads. Many people here believe that the paragon we call rob is lost somewhere inside possibly dead. In my opinion i think hes alive and well, he just ran into a couple darkspawn and mostl likely the fabled Certification Demon, a close relative to the Pride Demon.

I actually greatly enjoyed the shooter elements in ME. It's still your standard story-driven BioWare RPG, but it's got guns. Awesome guns. There are few things that make me cackle with glee, gunning down sentient robots with a shotgun is one of them.

I do that when playing Fallout 3. Nothing quite like decapitating something with a rifle.

May have to see if I can find a demo of ME somewhere so I can try it out before buying it. Hate to go and buy it and then only play it once for a few hours. DA is the first Bioware game I've played, so I'm not sure who you're talking about in KoTOR. I'm way behind the times I think.. lol

Yep. My first PC was a Dell, which should explain it's early death pretty well right there. The power supply went out after three years and I had to get a new one. Then it worked fine, if slow, for about a year and a half. Then one day I woke up and it had died. The motherboard and harddrive got fried somehow and I lost everything that was on it since I hadn't done a backup in months. Lost lots of pictures of my kids that day..

The new one that I built has an EVGA GeForce GTS 250, an AMD Phenom II processor, and a Gigabyte motherboard. Loaded up some games on it that I'd had on the old PC and couldn't believe how much better they ran or how much better the graphics were. I had XP on it until 7 came out, then I upgraded. Blows my mind how much better this one is than the Dell was. Granted part of that is because the technology is better now than it was when I got the Dell, but still. I'll never go back to pre-built computers again. Much cheaper and I got everything I wanted without having to shop around and give up one part in order to get another.

i really agree with u up there when u mentioned how PC gets extras.. that is the foul.. the paverbial broken law. i dont believe it right for any console to have extra just because of the platform.. thats discremenation because of relationship standings with what platform they have contracts or grants or funding from- they shouldnt get a exclusive special bonus just because they want to play FAVORTISM!

I think this has more to do with capabilities of the equipment. Kinda like how some people get laid because their equipment works, while others yell favouratism.

It's strange because no matter how many times I play through this game, i still find going through it again just as enjoyable. Great game.

Now sure i've logged an excess of 20-30 days on cod4 but thats multiplayer i dont know of any other game that i would replay the campain numerous times besides DA:O (not really a campaign but you get my point) My least favorite part of the game is when you are in the fade for the "broken circle" quest. So my first play through as a mage i obviously sided with the mages, but my second play through i need the mages so they can help with a certain trouble at redcliffe, but im an achievement hore so i played it through once killing wynn and all that jazz then i reloaded and played through the whole mission...and enjoyed it greatly


Sorry a little off topic but hey atleast its not another complaint:D

Tell me about it, don't forget to add in, increase the difficulty level, and it is like playing a whole new game in a way. I actually stumbled across a whole new banter between Leliana and Wynne, that made me almost snort chocolate soy milk out my nose. Anyone had the cherries conversation thread yet?
