What's really funny is that Borderlands which came out a couple weeks before DA:O has two DLC out. One is over 1000mbs and the other is over 500mbs. The posters did not start this topic.BioWare did. Rob gave us the "plan" and then vanished. I honestly don't care if RTO does not come out in til Feb. 2010. The main point is BioWare's lack of communcation concerning a thread THEY started. I hope everyone at BioWare has a great holiday season but even in the middle of that season they should have popped in here and said "Hey DA:O fans sorry but RTO won't be out in till sometime in Jan ". This is all that is asked and so far all we have is silence and an apparent "go fish" attitude IMO.

I am rather sick and tired of the lack of updates, and why exactly is the ps3 version holding all of us back? They should lower the price by one buck considering the delay and lack of communication.

They should just drop this stupid idea of releasing for every platform simultaneously. Let the PS3 crowd wait and get their knickers in a twist so they can whine at Sony, then maybe Sony will get their heads out of their collective arses.

This game bloody well rocks... that said I just wish RTO would get released so this little slice of gaming nirvana doesn't have to end so soon. Yes it is frustrating to wait but I beleive the wait will be worth it. Slay on!

I am also eagerly awaiting the release. I am on my fifth playthrough and I really need something new. I do not know what takes so long. Considering that on January there will be ME2, I do not plan to return to DAO after that...

You people seem to be of the opinion that they owe you a bunch of work almost free, first of all no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to buy them are they and second considering the graphics of Dragon Age you should consider the amount of work and effort that goes into a single scene if you want it well done.

One possible solution (and it may come to that) is that all content gets held until the PS3 version is fully signed off. It's simply a matter of Sony's certification process taking longer than those on the other platforms (PC is the quickest, then Xbox, then PS3). Generally, we try to budget sufficient time in our schedules to accommodate that but, in this particular case, our late-stage changes started eating into that extra time that we had set aside. As a result, a Christmas release of the PS3 version became impossible. Right now, we're on the knife edge to see if we can get the X360 version out in time - they did find a critical issue that we're currently working hard to fix. PC still appears to be on track but anything can happen.
