Sarah I respect you're opinion and Imma let you finish, but Bethesda had the most pointless DLC ever. Just saying.

Now the infamous horse armor was hilarious but Shivering Isles is still the best DLC i've ever played so i'm not sure how accurate your statement is, unless your just sharing an opinion.  Also, Fallout 3 DLC was quite good.

So with that said, i'd reciprocate by saying "Minus the horse armor for ESO, Bethesda has released some of the best DLC for any game to date."

Burnout Paradise is another game that was fiercely supported with DLC, and most of that was free.

Okay okay. I'll agree Beth has put out some good DLCs. I'm still a bit miffed that there's no expansion for Fallout 3 though.

There have been five fairly large dlc's for it that border on full-blown expansion status though. Especially Point Lookout. That one alone took me quite a while to finish

the expansion for fallout 3 was broken steel and to top it off they created point lookout with a story of its own and a new area to explore.

Make sense when you're talking to me. What did I assume? Trenton is all over this board singing the superiority of the 360 version ::chuckles:: He once even called the PC version a watered down port of the console version :D I'm not assuming anything, although I'm possibly taking into consideration posts you haven't read.

I'm not a format loyalist to any company, I enjoy console gaming as well but there's really no argument for the PC version being worse than the console version. It's especially backwards and dumb to try and argue that mods are a detriment to a game and not a check in the plus column.

I have known this game was developed for PC first since before it was even announced for consoles you fool. I've been a member of the bioware boards since 2007 and NO I DID NOT claim any such thing!!! I have absolutely NEVER made such false claims and unless you have a link I highly suggest you keep your nonsense to yourself. I have constantly tried to bring some common sense to the high heads of the PC gamers trying to claim that mods were god's gift to humanity when the fact remains they create a lot of problems.

I have constantly said that the PC gamers would be the ones that end up having to put up with most of the game breaking issues and so it happened.....so much for PC development first. Are you so petty as to have toresort to lies about me when you have no reasonable argument to make? How pathetic.

It sounds like they want to charge $5 for horse armor, except they added an hour long story.

For the 10000th time, don't buy it if you don't feel its worth the 5 bucks. Its as simple as that. No one is holding a gun to you or anyone elses heads forcing them to buy DLC. Whining and pissing and moaning about it over and over isn't going to change anything. Its only going to make people who welcome more content think less of you.

and we think less of you for getting bent by Bioware.

For sure, tossing down a few bucks (less than a wendy's value meal even) for more content, yep sure getting bent uh huh! That comment is so full of fail its not even funny.

Your awfully skilled at being off topic.

Comparing food which keeps people alive to dragon age is what now?

I'd say that's pretty fail right there.

obviously you nor bioware get it because we're still in the same little predicament, no?

I know it just makes my nerves boil to see that kind of nonsense claimed about me. I've been a fan of all BioWare games since KotOR 1 and I always know about all their current projects.....well all they have publically annonced anyway.

Well while we wait *pc only sorry :(* we can replay the game as a Cleric class
http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=374

That should last us atleast two plays.

Bwahahahaha......I just looked at those pics and it's GOT to be the silliest thing I've seen in a long time. Plus as a mod the chances of it being incopatible with RtO or the next patch or simply another mod are quite high.

Someone's PC-envy is showing Posted Image.

Envy? You missunderstand. I have little interest in amateur content that is highly likely to wreck my game and looks goofy on top of that. Besides it IS a fact that mods are more often than not incompatible with with official content and DLC.....the last PC patch had a disclaimer of not working with mods. Stating facts doesn't constitute envy.

Where does it state that Patch 1.02 does not work with mods?   There are many people using mods on the PC version without any problems, myself included.   Mods make the game stronger, not weaker.  Now if only they would release the game for the Wii so we could hack and slash for real.

Dragon Age on the Wii?...No..just no lol. The graphics would probably look terrible. You know Sony might be coming up with some motion wand-thingy and dont forget about progect natal for 360. I hope developers take advantage of these things and give us a good hack-n-slash with swords and stuff.

Mod could I ask kind of a random question while your here? Its about regestering your game on the site.

Its seems he or she has left.Oh well, there was probably nothing the mod could do about it.

I can't wait for the 5th to come by. The wait is killing me. I've had Drew Karpyshyn's latest book to keep me busy for the past2 or 3 days while checking up on a few other things but now the wait starts to feel slow and painful again.

Ah well at least we have news and we know exactly when to expect the DLC.

Wonder if we can pluck Duncan's sword and dagger out of that... back to life... ogre (wonder if that makes him an 'undead ogre'?) as seen in the trailer for the DLC

Regarding people that were in the vicinity of the original events, I reckon Morrigan will be of the "Why are we going back to the place my mother saved you from?" opinion and a certain someone else will be of the "I really, really, DON'T want to go back to the scene of one of my darkest hours.."

Roll on next tuesday :)

I just watched the RtO trailer and I must say it seems that it does fit in pretty well into the original storyline. With a little modification I think it also could have taken place some time after the main game ended, at least with my ending.

With regaqrd to further and hopefully longer DLC, it would be nicer imo to continue the game after the original ending with a few adventures taking place between DA1 and DA2.

I'm a little concerned that it takes 2 months to release a 1-hour DLC if it's just new items, that wouldn't bode well for the future. However, if it actually includes a lot of new conversations/story then it's fine with me. Think of it this way: if it already takes 2 months for a couple of items wouldn't that mean that it may take well over 2 years for a full expansion? Oh dear. Sheer speculation of course.

Anyway I seriously hope the DLC isn't just about items. We have a toolset for that (well the PC users do anyway).
