Game description says : Quest Location: To find the survivor play through Dragon Age: Origins until after the village of Lothering and Journey to Bann Loren’s Lands along the Bannorn’s northwest border.
So, after Lothering it looks like you're good to go.
My question to all is whether you think I can play RtO after I finished the game. Has anyone done Warden's Keep after they finished the game with the party, stats, weapons, etc. that they finished with??

Wonder if we can pluck Duncan's sword and dagger out of that... back to life... ogre (wonder if that makes him an 'undead ogre'?) as seen in the trailer for the DLC
Read the codex entry about ogres, they are very tough to kill, and should be burned after stabbing their hearts and brains. I always figured it didn't die permanently.

Bann Loren? Wasn't that also the name of Lady Landra's husband? (human noble origin)

Pretty sure it is, yes. Don't know if we'll actually see him though.

Has anyone finished the game and then played the Warden's Keep DLC from their epilogue save? I am wondering cuz I would like to play RtO from my epilogue save with my 1st playthrough party, Thanks.
Yes you can. All the DLC can be played at any time after you're out of Lothering up to and including the epilogue save.

Now now these are happy times for all. Don't go trying to enrage the ps3 players. There has been more than enough outragedrama concerning Sony's evil bueracracy.
Let us all put it out of our mind. Instead let us drink, dance, and engage in scandelous acts which would make Wynne faint dead away from shock.

Oh... I've just watched the trailer...

That said, as much as i *love* the armour, I think its just a mite creepy to think you are wearing a dead mans clothes, especially ones you cared about. Sure of course they are incredibly attractive but given the amount of reminiscing you hear from certain "friends" in the game, you would think that the remains would be a bit more holy-grail-ish than " Wow, uber-loot I am teh sexay now-ish" Perhaps I am thinking more *inside* the game than with my head however.... that and i am normally rogue although mage is very cool so far too
DLC is nice to have available. i also appreciate the games full willingness to automatically provide toolkits that allow us to expand our own experience of the game. I was a skinner and model creator in my other RL playable characters lives *snickers* so that is just a fabulous bonus for me to be able to play and incorporate that into such a fabulous game. One might think they are giving people the tools that take away the *necessity* of DLC but I think that is marketings job of making you *think* they are necessary to your experience, but not the purpose of them by existing in your game. That made more sense in my head than on the screen here though however
I would adore expansions, a LOT as I love this game! It's amazing, which is why we are all clamoring for more of course
I could care less about the armour given my pcs attachment to those she has "lost". I'm saying this despite wanting Duncan to be a playable character as a mod - or a party member! $5 for another part of the story may be perfect, i will wait to see ---
--- finding Duncan is alive however.... I am sure Bioware would not like to guess how much i would pay for *that*

It wasn't my intention to enrage the ps3 players. I just wanted to remind everyone that it wouldn't be released with the others before they tried downloading it on Jan 5th and couldn't. THAT would be more frustrating than finding out ahead of time that it wouldn't be out with the rest. At least to me it wouldn't be as bad.Jimmy Fury wrote...

From what it looks like, Sony is taking their sweet time approving the DLC and Bioware got sick of waiting for them and will just release for the other platforms now.

I'm a little concerned that it takes 2 months to release a 1-hour DLC if it's just new items, that wouldn't bode well for the future. However, if it actually includes a lot of new conversations/story then it's fine with me. Think of it this way: if it already takes 2 months for a couple of items wouldn't that mean that it may take well over 2 years for a full expansion? Oh dear. Sheer speculation of course.
Anyway I seriously hope the DLC isn't just about items. We have a toolset for that (well the PC users do anyway).
and the king's armor is already available thanks to modders*, isn't that funny?
"3/17/10 Announcment - Dragon Age Expansion coming Holiday Season 2015.... We're going to give you things the modders have already given you, and charge you! =D"
"12/29/15 Announcement - Our bads, we messed up, and we need to delay this for a year, oh well!, here we promise we'll lower the price down from $500, to $499.99"
"12/29/16 Announcement - The Expansion will be released in 2 months with the PS3 version coming sometime in the future... we don't know that date though either. and we lied about lowering the price =D, too bad theres nothing you can do about it but not purchase it, but don't dare mention it because our fanboys will try and shut you down with their illogical statements and compare DLC to food being eaten also not taking note that food actually prevents hunger for quite a few more hours then that first thrash DLC RTO."
Fun?
I think not.

I for one am excited about this content, but of course perhaps it is because i am currently wound up in the story, emotional investment if you will. ( This coming from a girl who has her elven characters on hold until i can finish one complete round with full options as a human noble) I cannot say whether the pack, (coming in under an hour or not) is worth the price yet as i have not yet played it through. It could very well be absolutely perfect if it provides some story relevant payoff. I withhold judgement on that until i play it through.

I would adore expansions, a LOT as I love this game! It's amazing, which is why we are all clamoring for more of courseI think that the *scale* of the story should determine dlc packs vs expansion. dlc content packs should happen within the same general "era" with same characters etc. What tears at me is in saying that it makes it less likely that the companions that I personally have come to enjoy being a part of *my* story would be around 100+ years later. The workaround of course is having the main characters in the expansions be the relatives ( children or grandchildren or whatnot) but maintain the similar appearance and personality traits.
I could care less about the armour given my pcs attachment to those she has "lost". I'm saying this despite wanting Duncan to be a playable character as a mod - or a party member! $5 for another part of the story may be perfect, i will wait to see ---

I completely agree with you in regards to the armor. I'm really not that interested in gold Juggernaut armor. I'm more interested in BW expanding on the story and/or letting us go through new and unique areas.
I'm much more interested in new story-line or some new quests. That to me is when DLC really becomes worth every penny. Cheers.
