Yeah.   $5.00 ?
 I just drank like $200.00.
If your mom won't give you five bucks for this, whine to her, not us.

*sigh* It's not about NOT AFFORDING $5, some of us just think that the amount of content  included is NOT WORTH $5. $5 is 10% of the price i paid for the game, will the DLC have 10% of the content of the game? 10 one hour DLCs' sold at $5 a piece would cost as much as the original game, but would they together be as large as the original game?

That is why i think this DLC is overpriced, and i for one won't pay for stuff i don't think is worth it, even if they have low price.

Toyka1 is right, the amount of content vs price is ridiculous, they are probably though compensating for the free stuff they gave away, hope a price drop will occur when they decide they compensated enough...

Stop complaining about the price, you can play the dlc on every playthrough - more than worth it!

Yep the DEV's said in earlier comments on this thread that if they lowered the price they would only lower it $1 anyway. So all this complaining is about the price of a regular coffee at a fast food restaurant. Some people must have no lives if they are going to complain about that.

The same amount of life as thoughs that think DLC is comparable to a cup of coffee.

Use an injury kit to heal Shale's injuries.

I just spent about $3300 on parts for a new PC.  But an extra $5 for the DLC?  Nope :D

Silverstone Fortress FT02 Black (no window)
Seasonic X750 modular power supply
Intel i7 960 CPU + Thermalright Venomous X heatsink + Arctic Silver 5
Asus P6X58D mobo
Mushkin 3 x 2GB DDR3 1600 mem
Intel X-25M 160GB SSD drive
WD R3 1TB drive
Logitech G9x mouse
Logitech G19 keyboard
Creative X-Fi Titanium
Sapphire HD 5870 + Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro heatsink/fan
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

The Plextor DVD drive will be salvaged from my current PC.  Don't need a Blu-ray drive right now.

I dont under why someone would continue to waste their breathe trying to convince someone else of the supposed lack of value for the price paid of this DLC. If you dont think it is worth it, great, dont get it. You are not going to change anyones mind though. Why keep at it?

to all that are saying the content doesn't equal the price, did you ever think of the fact that they need to pay thier dev's, fund future dlc's, keep up the quality of which they are done ( voice actors aren't cheap, especially celebrity ones, like Tuvok as the Keeper and so on) the price may be 5 dollars, and the dlc is estimated at 1 hour for average players ( longer for those that care about the game, less for those only interested in battle and loot), but you have to think about the quality and cost put into even this small dlc, I know they had voices in the DLC's for fallout, but no where as in depth as in here ( IMHO Fallout 3 didn't have much character depth) and Character depth leads to more dialogue, and more time to pay the VA's for. I am not one to say don't demand quality, and I would be yelling along side you if I didn't feel that the cost of making even this one hour DLC justified the cost to us. Length is not always quality.

Watch me not buy this "add-on."

See? This is how much you guys have kept me as a customer. Hiring incompetents to redo your website and then releasing something we don't want to buy.

What a complete joke you've turned into Bioware. All it takes now is a single other business to enter your market niche and not screw your customer.

What a joke.

You have a mouse in your pocket or something? You certainly dont speak for the DA fan base. I am willing to bet that RtO will be a big success for Bioware.

I can hardly believe that some people are still complaining about $5 like it's the end of the world and such horrible insults they throw at the company that is single handedly responsible for making good games.....that's right there would be no awesome games in existence without BioWare. Five dollars is actually very cheap and I will be glad to further support BioWare by purchasing it along with all their games and DLCs so that they can continue to create amazing games, DLCs and expansions. My only complaint is when there is no new DLC/expansion being made or released like I felt about ME.

If its only Bioware I would agree 100%, but there is EA behind them and responsible for prices and marketing stuff. In my eyes EA is a very consumer unfriendly company that considers gamers only as cash cows.

I'm hoping the server doesn't crash on the 5th or something from us fan boys rushing in to download.

I just want to know if the "genius" that decided to advertise it as "available this holiday season" got fired or not, and if not why? It would have been much better to say something like "available the first week of 2010", and then people wouldn't have been expecting it by Christmas and then by New Years.

This release is certainly NOT happening "this holiday season" (considering it's over now).......

To some that could be false advertisement... Just release the da*n thing already!!!

How much it cost them to produce it is irrelevant, what matters is how much people are willing to pay for 1 hr of content. Right now that seems to be a lot, though I'm pretty confident it will be put into compilation later which will be pretty cheap. I'll wait until then.
