Well Having worked in the industry, I can honestly say something like this is NOT as designed ( meaning probably overlooked and needs correcting) an exploit is fine, they happen and no big deal. But this is a major game breaking issue that should be rectified. It isn't a matter of ": if you don't like it don't use it" it is a matter of pointing it out to the devs, having them fix it, so that they know where it went wrong so the same thing doesn't happen in thier future games. If they dont go back and fix this issue, then they arent doing thier jobs as programmers, by going back into the code and seeing what happened. It isn't an attack on anyone that likes the issue, just that is my stand as someone who wants to see games improve in the future. ( this is a very easilly overlooked bug BTW, some testers wouldnt continue asking past the first time) If Bioware decides to let it stand as an optional patch, that is fine ( not sure if there is a patch out already, if there is, they have done thier job by going back and i will let the issue lie)th3warr1or wrote...

Wtf is wrong with people like you? It's a single player game. If you don't like it, don't use it, simple as that.

I can hardly believe that some people are still complaining about $5 like it's the end of the world and such horrible insults they throw at the company that is single handedly responsible for making good games.....that's right there would be no awesome games in existence without BioWare. Five dollars is actually very cheap and I will be glad to further support BioWare by purchasing it along with all their games and DLCs so that they can continue to create amazing games, DLCs and expansions. My only complaint is when there is no new DLC/expansion being made or released like I felt about ME.
If its only Bioware I would agree 100%, but there is EA behind them and responsible for prices and marketing stuff. In my eyes EA is a very consumer unfriendly company that considers gamers only as cash cows.

First I am playing on hard and you do die if you don't get you're tactics right.PrinceOfFallout13 wrote...
how in the holy jesus do you have a 80 hour playtrough and 28% game complete?daffy32 wrote...
Is it me or is the DLC a huge dissappointment when viewed in the context of the whole game?
I like to take my time and do lots of sidequests and I'm 80 hours in with 28% of the game complete. I got the stone prisoner free and paid for the wardens keep they lasted 1 or 2 hours each and gave away strong items/accessories for hardly any effort - wish I hadn't of bothered and will not be partaking this time round. I suggest people stick with the content in the main game which is enourmous.
i try to extend the game and have patience and im 50% in and 20 hours of playtime
Second I read all the books and entries in the database thing.
Thirdly I accept and complete ALL sidequests from chantry, guilds, NPC's etc.
Fourthly I am playing a rogue so I don't get to Tank with a perfect fighter or mage.
Maybe I'm just old school but it's very enjoyable to play the game this way - admittedly not role playing as helping everyone all the time is a bit overly heroic and not realistic but at least you get all the content - which I may not be cos I'm not really evil enough if there is any specific evil content.

well one hour is honestly not worth it, why not just make an expansion that has this as a sidequest?
They probably have a team for expansions and a team for smaller DLCs....for all we know they are already making an expansion.

Most people would spend 8-12 dollars on a cup of coffee that lasts them 10 minutes...and they complain about a DLC...wow....as for the movies...lol people don't think about that either. It will never stop the petty fighting though.
No they don't. I pay 2.50 for coffee, and 5bucks at most @ starbucks.leftEdge wrote...
I LOVE the DLC model. Personally, I'd
happily pay £5 a month for episodic DA content. I've not got much else
to say on the matter, just wanted to make my mark so BW/EA see that not
everyone is in some kind of thrifty time warp where £5 is a significant
amount of money, and nobody understands the costs associated with
making quality software. Testing cost alone over three platforms (not
to mention PC with it's enormous range of hardware configurations) will
be pretty high, not to mention dev cost, infrastructure overheads,
admin costs, VA, etc.
This isn't called episodic content. This is called rip-off. Episodic content = GTA IV Dlc.
And I spend about 2 bucks for 4 people in the house that drink coffee...and I put my own things on it (Whipped Cream, drizzle carmel, etc)...that is about 8 bucks at a Starbucks...last time I checked at the mall. Still, you spend 2.50 for a cup of coffee or go to McDonalds or some fast food resturant and buy something there and you complain about a 5 dollar DLC...I don't get it.
Wow, so now you're comparing 1hour of pixels to something that actually keeps you going? You're like those people who say "You pay 4bucks for a burger".

It seems like the game wasnt finished and some one said "i know lets just release it now and make them pay extra when the rest is ready as dlc's".
despite saying that im on my third run through twice as mage now as warrior and still loving the game.
im happily gonna get return to ostagar along with wardens keep, on pay day and if im being milked so be it.
my question is does anyonne know anything of dlc's or expansions for the quintari, orlais, or thedas home lands.

And You also know that the DLC teams are NOT the same as the patches team... So uhm NO, no patches comes out with the DLC's as they have explained over and over on these forums...
Totally different teams doing totally different work...
That's why the 1.02 patch was not part of a DLC either...
Can people maybe get this information to STICK in their minds now?
Patching and DLC's are made by different teams!!!!!!!!
There, now it's been said a million and one times!

Is there going to be an opportunity to reunite Wynne and her son?
I am sure I am being hopeful, at best, but it would certainly thicken some story points.

No one cares about Wynne. She's just a heal bot. I could see them doing extra content with any other character before they wasted time on Wynne. The Dog is included in this as he was even added to Return to Ostagar.

Isn't that addressed already in patch 1.02a? Or is this a separate issue from the one where you repeatedly got XP if you talk to Duncan when you have the vials but not the treaties?
Legion8536: Interesting how if you don't care about Wynne, it means no one else does. But the Wynne question belongs in the Spoilers forum anyway.
