Keep your eyes peeled for some of Duncan's items. You'll know them when you see them. ;o)

What will be the difficulty level of getting this DLC installed? Will it be nightmare level like all the previous DLC? Will it actually work or will items be missing as you work your way through it?

I really would have been happier to hear you guys had fixed all the broken things first.

Are there going to be any interesting technical boss fights like the 2 in the dwarf area? Those are a lot of fun.

An hour's about what I'd expect for five dollars.

Anyway, can't wait for this to come out; I'm dying to know what I'll find on my character's return.

Confused about the second chance to add Dog. What's that all about?

Anyone who's note a Human Noble might miss Dog, due to it requiring a two part quest.

To the devs, I don't give a flip how long it takes. I love the Dragon Age universe and I especially love the characters, so as long as the DLC relates to them I will buy it. $5 buys you a cup of coffee nowadays and that's gone in less than an hour.

I feel exactly the same.

People will have to make their own decisions about whether or not the price is right for them. I was involved in the pricing decision and this is the price I recommended and felt was appropriate for the content and the amount of effort required to create it. But yes, we understand that $5 can be a lot for some people to pay.

I paid $5 for lunch at McDonald's and that only lasted fifteen minutes. The price is *fine.*

Yes, and look what that lunch will turn into in 6 hours :crying:

For whatever reason, this DLC is not appearing in my available DL list. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have the simple solution for correcting this? Clearly, it is something menial that I have overlooked.

Edit: Okay... found the something menial. Apparently, I was a little too amped up when noticing the new DLC announcement that I failed to look upon the words "Available This Holiday Season." PEBCAK error if I ever had one. :pinched:

But that food stays in your system for an entire eight hours while offering life sustaining nutrients! Posted Image

No new creatures or companions, although those who overlooked Dog in the Prelude will now get a second chance to add him to your party. And no, that doesn't mean you now get two Mabari.

For those who have completed the game, you will be able to return to Ostagar from your Epilogue Save.

I'd agree that Return to Ostagar has a significant combat focus but there are some really good story elements as well, particularly between the followers who fought in the Battle of Ostagar and for whom King Cailan held particular significance.

There will be a few codex entries available.

Nice, glad to see there will be more codex entries available.  Looks like there will be at least 2 significant playthroughs  I have in mind for it. =)

Thank you for posting and interacting.  More scenery is definantly appreciated, although it's of mixed used, since the scenery is used in such a specific area, and not really accessible to the toolset for other uses.

Any case/hope of making it possible for the toolset to make modules dependant on DLC content, so it can be utilized by the community, well at least the community who has purchased the DLC :).

While I am very disapointed with the lack of waffles in the upcoming DLC it sounds like its a interesting addition I would enjoy.

For those doing the whole Money spent/Time enjoyed = amount of entertainment recieved. Is that how you decide on what movies are good? One that is 3 hours long is inherently better then 2 hour movie?

I suspect it would take a typical first-time player about an hour to complete.

FAIL.

$5 for one hour of entertainment.  That's not really that bad at all.  That breaks down to a lot less then going out and doing a lot of other forms of entertainment for an hour.  A lot cheaper in some cases (just look at professional sports ticket prices as one example and divide total price by hours the game lasts).  Would I say it's absolutely spectacular at an hour?  Probably not, but I'm not going to expect a whole expansion pack for $5 either.  And using the standard set by Warden's Keep at about 1.5-ish hours for $7, I would say it's about on par with that for $5.

Has nothing to do with whether it's a lot to pay, it's more about what you're getting for the $5. As far as $5 coffee, I say you're getting ripped off. Never saw the appeal in spending that cash on a extra-foam soy-non-fat caramel macchiato.

Plus, value in terms of food and gaming is a totally different economy. The economy of value in a gaming isn't relative to how much a Big Mac costs, but is rather relative to how much gaming you're getting per dollar spent. Say if Dragon age is $50 and took up 50 hours of my time, then it's $1 per hour. If DLC costs $5 and takes 1 hour, then that's $.20 per hour. As a value proposition, the DLC is worth much less.

I wish it was longer but to be honest, I've spent 10 bucks on Ebay buying preorder bonuses which are just freaking items so even if it's an hour of pure DA goodness its worth the five bucks to me.

I would really like to know the status of an xbox patch or if there will even be one though.

It's not out yet Admiral.

Not to sound ungrateful, I'm glad for the new content, but it's coming out fast and furious. I kind of feel a little milked, honestly. It's hard because everyone enjoying the game is going to want the DLC's, but I was kind of hoping for some more add on's, fixes or patches. If were going to get a bunch of small DLC's once a month, It's going to be like paying a subscription fee for a single player game, lol. ( I know these are optional, but you can't tell me that everyone playing is going to skip getting DLC's, were obviously all passionate about the game if were here on the forums).
