Agreed...Bioware delievered an awesome product (with some major flaws mind you) but are really pushing it with the DLC.Cadian412 wrote...
Anyone remember Throne Of Bhaal? Up to 60 hours of gameplay for 30$. Now you get one hour of gameplay for 5$. That's ten times more expensive. If you don't see what's wrong with that, you're an idiot.

we have had questions answerd, tho you probably never read those posts and decided to skin the last pages.
If you havent anything constuctive to add to the topic, post elsewhere don't troll.
I am looking forward to getting the king's armor, and some of Duncan's things, but will there be a raise to the lvl cap, or would that be for a larger expansion? I would love to go to Sten's lands in an expansion, I'm sure that would be very VERY interesting
OK, point taken.
Anyway, moving on, I would love to see Sten's home. I mean, I love Sten so it's only natural that I want to see more Qunari. But that just sounds like something that could be incluce in Dragon Age 2. If it were up to me, I would have a larger expansion of the story on Eastern Ferelden. Seriously people, I don't expect the the left end of the World Map to be the bordor of Ferelden. There has got to be some story there that could be of interest. Perhaps like some growing tensions between some of the Orlesians and Fereldens. I think that's the next aspect of the story BioWare could expand on: the Orlesians. I would love to fight some Orlestions. It could be like a secondary enemy. Plus, I want to see Lohgains reactions on this matter(you know, as a party member).

Anyhow, here's the questions:
- Duncan's armour: Will it be available? I've seen many players that are very very interested in it myself included ( wish more armour designs were that detailed *sigh* ).
- Replay value: Could we have some area with, y'know, re-spawning enemies of sorts? I've cleared the game far too many times already, and it'd be cool to be able to just plow through a wall of Darkspawn whenever you get the urge for it. Pretty please?
- Side-Quests: Are there gonna be any new Side-Quests? Pretty self-explanatory, innit?
- Cookies: Are we finally getting some cookies? Sten would love them, and maybe raising his disposition would be a bit less like banging one's own head against a brick wall.
Aaaaand that's it!

I loved Shale's story and I found the golem a refreshing insight into the dwarven past. As for wardens keep, I loved seeing that the gray wardens were more than just epic hero's who only fought the blight. And I will enjoy seeing whatever became of duncan. Thank you.

I would really like to see orlais , weisshaupt or a post epilogue expansion.
An Epilogue Expansion like Fallout 3's Broken Steel?
If Bioware wants to make good and entertaining DLC, I suggest they take a look at Fallout's DLC
...Just a thought

Indeed they should.
As an object lesson in what not to do.

BWAHAHAHA!
Development costs are EASILY 10x more today then they were back then. If you don't see the difference in development times and cost for 3D assests (including the 2D texture - some of which are larger than any in BGII0, you're the "idiot."
Furthermore, there's a minimum cost of entry for any DLC.
You have to factor in:
*bandwidth (for download/redownloads for life of product)
*advertising
*continued tech support
Let's say $3 is THE minimum cost for most sales projections to recoup the losses for the advertising, testing, and bandwidth needs associated with digital content.
Also, let's not forget the increased development costs:
*lots more bug-testing than Infinity Engine games.
*LOTS more art assets (both 2D -textures- and 3D -models).
*lots more voice acting, sounds, music, etc. are expected.
Anything above that original $3 goes to recoup development cost and (heaven forbid) go to a much larger digital expansion pack or simply larger DLCs int he future.
Furthermore, I'd rather have Bioware cut their teeth and iron out their DLC distribution woes on these smaller packs than rush an expansion out the door on the bug-riddled DLC platform currently implemented.
I just wish naysayers realize that the playing field for developing videogames is vastly different since BGII was released 10 years ago.

I certainly hope so. Seems like it'd be a rogue-type armor, and while I do love all the plate, it just seems like the other classes need a little bit of love.

Our next piece of Premium Content, Return to Ostagar, has been announced.
If you have any questions about this new release, please post them here and I'll do my best to answer them for you. I'll try to avoid any spoilers not already covered within the module description and ask you to do the same.
Thanks for playing Dragon Age and for your interest in extending the experience!
All I want to know is if there is any more voicework for Zevran? If it has that, I'm sold
