Is it going to be as short as the keep?  If so i hate you, bioware.

Will you ever open up the keep again?  Will the DLC fix the bugged warewolf scarf quest?

A little extreme, no? And they've already said it won't be any longer that WK.

I just want them to let me buy it already :D

NOT A QUESTION!

Seriously though I would settle for even a release date...

"Available this holiday season"

<-- Disappointed! Spshh already had me load up $5.00 just to sit there and rot till X-Mas now =(

Being that was said before Thanksgiving, one would have ventured a guess that it was the thanksgiving holiday season.

In Canada, Thanksgiving was in October (and isn't even celebrated elsewhere). When "holiday" is mentioned this close to Christmas, it's usually referring to that holiday season.

congratulation for making the first xbox360 game(I have 40+ ) that made sure I can't get all the achievements, good job. I wonder though, since this team sucks who made DAO, they doesnt work on ME2 ? so we dont get our DLC screwed messed up again becuse of greedy people who release content on day 1 and its not even working, its the biggest disgusting movement I ever seen in gaming for years.
To charge content for something day 1 and then it doesnt even work properly in fact it messed up everything for you.
Gj.

Just do a Gamertag Recover and do them again and you can have Full GS .... stop crying -_- and its Microsofts fault many DLC achievements dont work from the first day

Our next piece of Premium Content, Return to Ostagar, has been announced.

If you have any questions about this new release, please post them here and I'll do my best to answer them for you. I'll try to avoid any spoilers not already covered within the module description and ask you to do the same.

Thanks for playing Dragon Age and for your interest in extending the experience!

I would like the game to be more detailed, not just somethign we spend 1200 points on or whatever and just be getting like 30minutes to 60 minutes gameplay out of,  expecting minimum 15 hours of gameplay if I have to pay that much, does that in anyway make any sense heh?

I'd just like it to feel like an undertaking, rather than a skip through the park. I'd like to see a town with a "quest hub" that leads up to these things, or something similar. I would much rather encounter something like that than listen to some random dude talk about how expansive those tunnels we completely bypassed are, or how huge that tiny 2-story keep looks on the outside, or brag about how good a job they do at cleaning up with the door's locked and barred.

WK felt rushed and unfinished. I just hope this isn't an indication of what is to be par for the course in future installments.

Yes, I enjoy these smaller DLC's, but if we could have a much larger expansion, I would be really happy.

If they had held off Warden's Keep, kept the reigns on Return to Ostagar and then developed several more add-ons as they would have anyway, and released it as a single expansion, it would be much more respected. Releasing DLC in dribs and drabs doesn't make sense from the viewpoint that the game can only be replayed so many times before it gets boring, and adding on a single mission doesn't make the entire game worth playing through a sixth or seventh time.

for me, Fallout 3 really set the standard for DLC expansions. each of the five add-ons took anywhere from 3-5 hours to complete and the price was fair at $10. the release schedule wasn't too bad either since it came out every two months.

I would rather take quality over quantity... one hour of new content every month doesn't seem that great

Why is people being so mean to BW? They gave us a great game AND they are giving us DLC so stop being so nasty. If you like the idea of this DLC great, if you don't... there's no need to get aggresive. So for what is worth... I love you BW! :)

iim agree whit the fall out example but not going to far i remember bioware made for neverwinternights some huge expansions who were very cool and whit a good respectable time of gameplay hordes of the underdark was a good example, any way if this future dlc`s get to be more focus in combat and open a wider opportunities for level up our characters adding more dragons or bigger demons as foes for example i don't think will be to much work than adding to many voice acting and and plot control choices, personally i thing the future dlc,s should be more linear than the rest of the game (who already is great in my opinion) and just give us a wider variety of enemies to freeze, burn, stab, and climb for cutting them by half .

outside this minor dlc.s, i really hope in the future the bioware team will be nice enough to send us new places like for name a few, the other remaining dwarven city , the black city in the fade ,or the orlesian and tevinter empires, for exaple becouse im my opinion they really suceed in build a complex and immersive world here and i hope i don't have to wait for DAO2 for keep enjoin it.

Just adding my name to the petition about the new DLC being too short. Kinda expected more out of WK for that much $. Would have been more justified if I were able to bring all my characters to the bank at once to divvy out equipment faster. Right now it's a p.i.t.a. to manage bank items over a bunch of characters. (Sure I only need 4 peeps but I'm funny like that, I like trying to max each character out)

Is ok, live and learn but hard to justify paying $ a 2nd time without a lot more detail about gameplay length + bonus features on future DLC's.

Seriously, I'd pay for a DLC that let me replay my characters with their stats/equipment/etc a 2nd time and an increased level cap. Just a suggestion.

Does any one else suspiciously think of Cailan when you see that Golden armor? Which, btw, I've wanted for sooooo long. D; That armor was awesome.

I'd personally prefer longer more meaningful adventures than what we've seen with warden's keep and return to ostagar. These short experiences really seem and feel worthless.

For now I'm going to sit out the Return to Ostagar and future DLC releases until some reviews are out. While $5 isn't a lot of money it still feels like a waste of the experience that those dollars pays for is lacking.

15 hours for 5 bucks. Yeah that's how developers make money all right. <_<

In a thread called "Questions about Return to Ostagar?"  and quoting the post you quoted. no, your statement does not make sense.

BIOWARE.. it would be soooo cool if you made a dlc were we could customize our party camp. like build defeneses in it and have some random encounters were its attacked, maby have it where when we walk around the camp the people talk to each other like when youre out walking around, but being able to customize your camp has real potential like we have to buy defenses find certain things and keep improving on it making it look cool. thank you for looking at this bioware

Didn't read the whole thing (39 pages ugh)...

Will there be a new mage robe to be found? I mean totally new model... not just tint shift. Or perhaps new mage hats (again new models)?

I agree the mages are sooo powerful and yet they look like idiots, it seems AWs are the only way for mages to go  if you want the enemy to see you as a real threat and not a funny looking book nerd. the other armour suits are cool but i hate the way they just change the color and texture and call it a different suit it would be nice if there were at least minor changes in the armour look for ex. change some of the massive armour to were it doesnt have a huge right shoulder plate our maby have a plate on both shoulders. i just would like to see a little difference in it.
