I just wanted to add my disgust about the lack of support for the 360 version, and would hope people VOTE with thier wallets. Refuse to purchase games from companys that expect us to live with major bugs / defects. Untill people start to do this companys wont care and we the people will continue to be neglected so their valuable time can be spent on things that can boost thier quaterly profits. If these bugs are not fixed soon I will never buy another EA/Bioware game!

AMEN BROTHER!   I'm not quite at the "I'm never going to buy your games again" stage, but come on.  It's been almost been a month.  If they spent as much time "testing" the actual game as they apprentlly spend testing the patches, we wouldn't need the patch so badly in the first place.

Get ready for a few pages of "it's different teams that do the DLC!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!" comments from all the fanboys.

If you thought this was bad wait till you see how badly shafted the pc players were for MW2.

What're you talking about?  I've only found one bug in one quest in the entire 360 version of the game, and I found a workaround for that.

The only thing I know of that needs fixing right now is the Dagger/Dex junk stuff.  And that I don't use yet so I'm not too worried about how long that'll take.

The difference is that before the game is released they have a few hundred people testing for bugs. After the game is released it's more like a few tens of thousands. There's only so much that can be tested with limited resources when you're creating a multi-platform engine.

All things considered, Bioware did an excellent job of delivering a solid product on schedule with only a very small number of major bugs.

As for people complaining about paying $5 for the DLC, don't expect anything cheaper than that considering that regardless of the duration of the DLC, EA still has to fork over the money to make sure the content is available for download. Hate to be the one to break the news but bandwidth and download management servers are expensive, so don't hold your breath for a dollar deal DLC.

My only complaint is that although the game has decent length and excellent replay value, the overall story arc is very short and simple. I'd rather see a DLC that could change or alter the storyline rather than one that just fills in a couple blanks and adds yet another overpowered set of armor.

When I get a patch for 360, Bioware will get more of my money for DLC. Until then, forget it.

I've already canceled my ME2 pre-order, as I will no longer buy Bioware games solely off the reputation they had before joining EA and dumping their quality control in the river.

From now on, Bioware is now lumped in with the increasing number of developers who's products I now wait and see before buying. Which is a shame, since Bioware was one of a small handfull I would always buy without a second thought before.

Will people who download it within the first three days get to experience the joy of glitched achievements? Then, get to hear EA customer support blame Microsoft, and Microsoft blame EA?

Thats buisness and how the world goes round now, wait till you look at activision which makes EA's douchebaggery rather pale in comparison.

Their reason for shafting the pc version for MW2 was because "all pc players are nerds, hackers, pirates and too stupid to browse through dedicated servers".

At least you don't see EA or bioware telling you to ****** off because they think your stupid.

But i feel you, i had problems with ME pc and EA blamed my graphics card which at that time was high end.

It may have been said here, and I said it in another post as well....

When you can get more for your money (dollars per hour) at a movie theatre than from video game DLC...something is wrong.

Love the game, I even love the DLC.  Squeezing every dime out of me has now lost its luster.  When you bundle new DLC at a reasonable price in the future, I will be back.   New DLC continuing at these price levels for the content, is just plain ripping people off.

This is my opinion, and others will vary.  I respect their right to choose.  This is my choice and "wallet vote".

Who cares about the cost of beer compared to the cost of a DLC.... maybe beer cost $5 because they want you to go broke before you run someone over in your car?

I don't have the many problems others are discussing so I won't be doing a "wallet" vote.

but it is true this DLC is over priced by about 2 dollars lol, and he is right that if you keep letting these guys rip you off its going to get worse in the future.

is it common to write a reply and for it to vanish into nothingness?

I think it will be very intresting... supposing to find (or be able to) duncans and kings equipment, seeing th devastation who followed the horde, find again the places from the epic cinematic of the battle... rmember ppl, with the tools we will be able to create our own stories and adventures for free... but but we are not the story makers and developpers who created that game... i will pay with a smile the price needed for a good adventure (also if not so long).

Let us look at this "rip off" another way. Here we sit and have fun with a game, a good game, some would kall it an exelent game, some, a few a shi...t game. The developers have taken a chanse to develop this game, and they make a lot of "greens"... and they follow up with a DLC... is that the right name... still taking a chance... it can be sold just a few tens... so they loose money. They never know, but in this case they probably make a lot of mony. Depending on how many sold, it is still difficult to say; this is a rip of or not. You must campare to what you get comparet to what else equivqlent fun you get for your money. I think this is full of spelling error, so try to understand.

I will be sorely disappointed if people dont get angry at you if after you play through return to Ostagar and you pick up the princes armor from his now lifeless corpse and then put it on. I mean really..

'Ho bob..er..wait..is that the princes armor!" look of horror, 'My god man you cant wear that, its only for the royal blood line! Not to mention where is the princes body?!? you did not bother bringing it back for a proper funeral!'

I do appreciate the honesty about the length of the DLC. I still will most likely buy the DLC, but I would ask for longer DLC in the future.

Only way they're going to make longer DLC is if people refuse to pay a premium price for little content.
