That must be where the convo with Shale about how his master made him smaller with a chisel came from.But Shale was intended to be in the main game from the start, however they had issues with his model getting stuck in doors etc.

I wish pole arms could be introduced. at least spears but they would need to add defence and range and would be like an in between tier of the 2h sword and the dagger except there would be alot of friendly fire on any spin specials lol.
Something else of interest for once here, i'd definetly like to see that as well, hopefully with the full blown expansions they'll add them, polearms always are a personal fav of mine be it in soul calibur, the dynasty warriors or my Final Fantasy Dragoon class lol (i'll just have to pretend with jump, but still~!)

One of the elements *I* think Dragonage had that allowed it to prevail over other good games, to make it a great game, was the ending. Without adding any spoilers, it was concrete...with leeway for RPers to take their character in many directions through various means, not necessarily in game. It is, what I want to call, a Final Fantasy ending...back when Final Fantasy was good. You get closure, but you can continue your character's story.
I think an expansion will...well...ruin this, unless it is done very carefully. For example, "the choice" towards the end of the game...people are saying that sequels can be made of it, but...what if your character chose against it? A sequel relying on an in game choice is headed for failure, as not everyone will make the same choices.
I think it may be kinda cool...though technically, probably impossible, perhaps, if there was to be a sequel to have it 'continue' where your character left off, depending on your ending or whatnot.
Other than that, "during the timeframe" additions seem to be sating me.
But sequels scare me.

In fiction characters who... "choose against it" (if you get what I'm saying) find a way to show up in the future works all the time. Some technicality or something that allows them to continue on. A sequel or expansion that adds more content that takes place AFTER the end of the main game could still work. Dreams can be used to explain a lot, as can magicWhere there's a will there's a way, or so they say.
Yes...that is true...and could be very interesting. But somehow...I think that would lessen the weight of the decision. I mean...if you KNEW what would happen in a sequel, would you still make the same choice? That choice is pretty hardcore.
Oh man...unless...hmm...that may work. Though the developers would also have to take into consideration that each player's "world" is very different after they play through. It'd be kinda neat if (hard to talk in "code" so bear with me) the characters present in a certain area at the end had to find "he/she who was the hero" and if the player chose yes, you could find...the...other thing. ^^;
Not sure. Either way, it is very story sensitive...a blessing and a curse with these games. It'd be hard to pull it off sucessfully and not be tacky.

Also, is there any chance of getting light/leather armor types that do not use the same graphics as the armors you start the game with? Going massive armor route gives you all these cool types of armors later in the game (or even very early because of Blood Dragon armor), but anyone sticking to leather looks like they are level 3 for the ENTIRE game. I would love to see some unique looking leather outfits through DLC like this.

It seems like they'll keep ignoring it and not even acknowledge its existence after it is released.
I seriously hope I'm wrong.
I will never understand why people feel the need to go to beyond the call of duty to the most extreme situation, no matter how implausible. It's like the people that thought the Wii was going to be released tomorrow with no fanfare from Nintendo.

Will doing everything in Return to ostagar & reading every codex in there with an activists sash on all combined take my Mage from 24.6 to 25? Or my Rogue from 24.35 to 25?
