It isn't the fact that they are bringing more DLC that bothers me. It is how soon they announced that does. I bought the SE edition at launch (had it pre ordered for weeks) and after running through the mage origins 4 times (all my fault due to different reasons) I was ready to start playing it. The next day they announce more DLC. So I put the game back in the case and haven't touched it since. Because I want the full experience which I can't have because they felt the need to announce DLC  unnecassarily. They could have waited until it was ready to hit the marketplace. There is no reason why they couldn't then announce it. It isn't like many people were shocked that there would be more coming.

Everyone just needs to calm down bioware is doing the best the can. First you complained about the price. Then you asked for trophies and achievements. And now that bioware is taking our suggestion and putting them into the game Your Complaining that it wont be out when the first said it would. I wounder why?? I for one Thank bioware and you guys are doing a great job.

I second the feeling. A great job indeed. Of course, I wanted to play it during the Christmas holiday, but the real important thing is to play it, sooner or later :)

Er, no.  Life happens and they don't owe us anything.  If they do miss the "Holiday Season" part, I will peer disapproving over my glasses at them, sure, but I won't have any less respect for them.  $4.00 isn't bad, really.  I cant even get a good burger for that.  Not that free isn't nice.  :-)

I never said that they owe us anything. i was just stating that running a business like this isn't right. Announcing something for the holidays then saying sorry it wont be out until after new years is wrong. Especially if it can be released before New Years for the pc and 360. It's not the consumers fault that Sony can't approve it fast enough and force the pc and 360 market to suffer because of it. Release it when it is ready and if the ps3 people complain tell them its there own fault for wanting trophys and a lowered price.

I don't understand why people always get angry when others make demands of Bioware, however ridiculous they may be at times. Sure Bioware doesn't OWE anyone anything (except their shareholders); but they still want people to buy their product, and these are consumers letting the market know exactly what product they want and how they want it. They're not always going to get exactly what they want, but they still have the right to ask for it.

What is the alternative? Everyone shuts up and accepts anything that is thrown at them. Then you wouldn't have benefitted from the 5$ reduction that came from people voicing their concerns.

And I'm sure that if they decided to just release it by Xmas and not fix your 360 Achievements or whatever, you'd be crying a different river.  Seriously, what is wrong with running a business like this?  They could give us NO information, and instead we get weekly updates and we know exactly why things are being delayed and what's being planned.  There was even a price drop, yo.  Be reasonable!

Well, I never wanted to buy 1h DLC like "Return to Ostagar". So normally I shouldn't even care whether Bioware will release it on Christmas or a month later.

But the truth is after completing DA two days ago I'm still missing Ferelden enough to buy almost anything right now.

However I guess the hangover won't last a whole month, especially since I will already be back in the Mass Effect Universe by then... Image IPB

So.. what? It's done for PC but not for PS3, and thus we all have to suffer? Where's the logic in that?

I as so looking forward to Return to Ostagar to play it during the holidays. D:

I am sorry but I really don't like reading from first post to last when there is over 10 pages, sigh. My question is what will the price be? Though this may have been answered before my laziness forbids me to research at the current time. I have Dragonage for the Xbox360 so would it cost between 800 to 1200? An approximate price would suffice. Sorry once again.

I think the lesson they should learn from this is simply don't announce a small DLC so far ahead of having any idea of when it is to be released. For large content people are more patient but for something so short there is little reason for us to know so far ahead of the release, it just builds resentment.

Customers are ridiculous people, I know I work in the Canadian finance industry.

there looking at around 450 or under  i think and if it ant ready for one systom thay cant let it go for any of the others  what if i sucks  and thay dont get there share of the ps3 peps money  it would ruin bios x mass and get all you 360 and pc players peved cuse you spent money on something then ran your mouth off to for worn the ps3 pep and last i know x mas was dering the holeday seson not the end of it  so  get over your selves and just play the sims 3  or some thing  the griping you do now ant going to get to you any faster Image IPB

I still don't understand why people are coming in this thread stating they won't buy it, why declare it to the world... who cares?

We've had pages of negative attitude towards Bioware because they are releasing DLC not far from the game, yet you complain when there isn't any DLC, hypocrisy at its finest.

I'm very exited for this new DLC. I would just like to say thank you to Bioware for continuing to add content to the game.

P.S.

I just ate an awesome $4.00 chocolate chip cookie and it was totally worth it. It lasted about.. I don't know... somewhere around the 1min 35 seconds mark.

Looking forward to returning to Ostagar. I appreciated the returning voice talent for both dialogue intensive DLC before, I hope the same production values go into these, no matter how small.

This is why I didn't like the first DLC for Mass Effect as only the guy who played Shepard lent his voice to the DLC. Your crew members were unselectable and added no unique dialogue and didn't interract with the DLC whatsoever. It felt like a Nostalgia Critic, "Big-Lipped Alligator Moment" - nobody ever spoke of the level, nor was  it ever mentioned again.

Length isn't a huge issue for me, as long as the party members realise I'm there and what I'm doing, then immersion isn't broken. Would hope to play this during the Holiday season though, I'm probably going to be playing ME 2 in January :o.
