Can you imagine how nice it would be a full expansion set in a few years after the events of the game, in a new map, with some old companions, new companions and a nice plot with lots of clue of what happened to the people of Dragon Age based on your save game? Like Dragon Age: The Qunari Wars. I think that it would be a very nice thing to see on the stores some months from now.
Yeah but I sacrificed my PC in one of my playthroughs... what happens with that? Is an expansion possible since some of the gamers out there had their PC killed? It wouldn't feel like an expansion if I had to create another character from scratch! Scenarios like this would be something to expect in a sequel rather than in an expansion.
But then again, the guys here at Bioware are really creative... and they could always find some way to revive you...
Well, like you said, the guys here at Bioware are really creative, they could always find some way to keep the adventure on. Despite the number of hours the game has and the depht it contains, the only thing I can conclude is that I want more =P
Still... It's kind sad to load my epilogue and see everybody in the camp like nothing had happened and than travel to explore a dungeon with a lot of items that I would not use at all. (I know I could use the expansion content in new games but... you know what I mean).

When I was constasntly replaying BG2 thanks to the greatness that was Weidu I wasn't loading a new game up everytime an extra dungeon or NPC was released, I'd wait for a few and then replay it as it makes a significant difference in playthroughs.
Take Tales of the Sword Coast as an example, if you released both dungeons and the extra weapons as seperate staggered add-ons for the same overall price I'd have completed the entire game for a one hour dungeon then replayed the game again just for the sake of another hour long dungeon. As much as I loved Baldur's Gate it becomes a grindfest and there's no point in having a playthrough, completeing a piece of DLC and then not playing until the next piece comes along.
With Return to Ostagar everything you've released is more than what most £20 expansion packs offer but because its been broken into smaller pieces it seems there is less content.
Considering most of us will have completed the game several times by the time the DLC after Return to Ostagar is announced how about a dual pack DLC with an dungeon for general playthrough and then a really hard end game dungeon priced the same as tow lots of DLC?

I am really curious to know what Bioware would do with the fantastic ending they created for DA. Will we get a different beginning depending on how our own story did end in DA, similar to the origin stories?
I hope they will continue the story of Alistair & Co one day. That was one of the many things I really liked about the Ultima series for example. I could return to Britannia, travel again with Iolo, Shamino or Sir Dupre, see how the land and its people have changed over the years...

When three groups are given software to QA and one group takes 3 weeks longer than the other two, yes, I blame it for having poor QA.PrinceOfFallout13 wrote...
