Hey there,

I've recently took up modding and so far I'm really enjoying it, though I have a problem - My system runs with both a HDD harddrive and a SSD. The SSD can only save 45 GB and most of it is already used up for the Windows System and Sound Editing Software e.t.c.. I installed both Dragon Age and the Toolset in D:// - However, everytime I do "post local posts" in my level, it automatically saves all the files in C:\\My documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age e.t.c. , even though I never installed anything concerning Dragon Age on C (my SSD). I've looked through all the options in the toolset, however, the only thing I can modify is the workspace directory, which I already have changed. Is there any way to stop the toolset from doing it? I've heard that 5GB should always be left free on the SSD and I've only got 9GB left and I fear that if I dont change anything my disk space will not suffice.

I hope somebody can help me.

Thanks alot!

Nick

You can change the location of your profile's 'my documents' folder, ideally you'd have done that at install (of windows) anticipating a problem like this, but you can do it while installed aswell, toss a google-search at it.

If you have windows 7 however, if you ask up the properties of the 'my documents' folder, select the location-tab. There you can move the location of 'my documents' from one drive to the other, or whatever you prefer.
In theory that should not cause an issue with programs, they should be able to find the my docs folder in the new location (it changes the variable that points to the my docs folder, so all apps should still be able to find it basicly).

Hope this helps you.

Hey,

Thanks for the answer! :)
I'll give it a go right now, though I fear this might cause some problems with the toolset? Because most of the stuff is already installed in C. :|

[Edit: Thanks! Right-clicking the My Documents-Folder and changing the path to D:\\\\My documents worked well and Windows even automatically transferred the contents of the My documents folder to the freshly specified path. Thanks alot :])
