Hello all,

I have browsed the forum, tried many things that were suggested and did not find anything that was working for me...

I have been playing around 60 hours on DA Origins Ultimate Edition (Steam version) and suddenly I cannot load any save anymore as all DLCs are unauthorized with my account.

I have tried:
- Dragon Age Content Updater Service: This one seems to work properly
- Regenerating profile.dab: Done several times, no improvement
- Checked if the CD key and DLC codes were linked to my account: They are
- Official EA support solution (http://support.ea.co...gon age origins): And this is just crap, I can play but have lost my DLC contents
- And other stuff that I do not remember now...

I have noticed the following that might or might not be linked:
- My Bioware points balance cannot be updated under "Downloadable Content" in the game, even if I am connected to my account. It tells me that the servers are not available.
- I am not able to change my password on my account on this website. The link to the appropriate page gives me a dead end.
- I am using Winter's Breath on Morrigan and it disappeared suddenly recently and I discovered it while playing. I do not know when it happened exactly but I was able to get it back by taking an older save. But when the staff disappeared I was still able to connect to all my saved games.

I am really getting tired of trying as many things as I can... Can anybody help?... Please?

Thanks for getting back with details. Does your password contain any special characters (other than letters or numerals)? And what is the link you're trying to use to change your password?

My password has only letters and numerals.

As per the link to change the password, this part is solved now. The service should have been down for a while. It was https://profile.ea.c...angepassword.do

The main problem (unauthorized DLCs) however remains for the moment...

That's good. Next step:
1) Launch the game, and go to the "lobby screen"-- the one with the sword sticking in the ground. 2)Do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and launch the Task Manager (leave Dragon Age running).
3) In the task manager, go to the "Process" tab and see if something called "daupdater.svc.service.exe" is running.
4) If it is, report back. If not, consult the Solutions Roundup (linked in my signature line, below) and see the section on DLC... it will have links on how to manually start it.

I have a similar issue. I noticed then that even if the daupdatersvc.service.exe is set to start automatically, most of times doesn't. So when I can't load the game due a 'missing' module or stuff disappears from my inventory, I just go to main menu, alt+tab to go to windows, I execute RUN with service.svc, and manually start the daupdatersvc.service.exe. Then back to game and all fixed. It's a pain that I have to do it manually so many times though.

Hu, interesting...
I just tried to change my password now that it is working again. I put another one with letters and numbers... And now I can load my saves perfectly!
I assure you that I was logged in on the game before and with the right password, otherwise it would not have worked.

Thanks for the help anyway!
