My first Shepard was a Renegade, and he never sided with Cerberus, nor saved the base. Might have something to do with Akuze, though.

I still don't see that confirmation I'm waiting for on the RPG elements still being there, or getting more focus.
weapon customization doesn't really matter for me and I don't consider it an important thing.
more weapons would do the trick for me... the Spectre gear needs to make a return.

Just to chime in on the speculation, if James Vega is a tank Soldier maybe Ash got "cross-trained" into being a damage dealing Infiltrator.

I'm thinking 7 to 9 squad mates. 7 being the default "first time to ME universe" play, 9 including some of the characters that survived ME2.

*X = new character

1. Liara
2. Vega
3. VS
4. X/Garrus
5 X/Tali
6. X/Jack
7. X/Whoever fills this role--possibly Grunt
8. Legion (assuming they survived)
9. Miranda/Jacob -- depending on gender of Shepard (assuming she survived)

I like this list

Also for people hating on Renegades here's something to think about. You thought as I did, that saving the council was the "right" choice in ME1. "Ah, yes" we all saw how that turned out.

It sounds ambitious. ME3 is aiming real high.

What worries me a little is they talk about weapons in the character progression section. I wanted to hear ME3 will have as many lines of dialogue as ME1&2. They're also hugely favoring guns over biotics.

Shed loads mentioned about other things but still no word on squad mates armour customisation I see.

Really hope were not gonna be stuck with the single outfits with alternate paintover from ME2.

And no mention of Ken and Gabby in the bit about the Alliance engineers. Hope they make a return, they made me laugh.
