My first Shepard was a Renegade, and he never sided with Cerberus, nor saved the base. Might have something to do with Akuze, though.

Or the fact that Cerberus lured Alliance marines to Akuze to "See what would happen" with the Thresher maws.

My Shepard was Para-gade first playthrough (with sole survivor).  Did some bad things (but mostly good), but did'nt keep the base.  Something about handing advanced technology over to someone who could turn on me at anytime seemed like a bad.........

Come on, it's not that hard. Google is your friend. The option to search for latest / 24 hour old articles too. You know it is supposed to be a july issue (!) of "XBOX World" magazine, don't you. Add some words from your post and... Google will share its files with you rapidly...

If they marginalize Miranda and bring back Jack I'll go on an uproar..

Let's categorize the confirmed ones so far:

Static: Liara - James Vega - Ashley/Kaiden
Variable: Garrus - Tali

Assuming you Garrus and Tali are dead in your game that leaves us with only 3 squadmates, and considering that every other squadmate that the fans want in the game could be dead as well I'd go and say there's at least 2 more new squadmates which leaves us with 5 static squadmates, and seeing as how Casey said 12 was too many then I guess 8 is gonna be the new number, add Garrus and Tali to the mix and then it's 7 which means they can only bring back one more old squadmate..

Thane, Zaeed and Mordin are out which leaves:

Jack: heavy emphasis on her new looks and the fact that they almost talk about her in every article means she's a likely candidate [I hope NOT]
Miranda: she is most likely a permanent squadmate, if Cerberus is a main adversay as they seem to be then she'll be the most important asset in taking them down, she met the illusive man in person and knows where his base of operations is.
Jacob: I can see him staying with Shepard as well or maybe going back to the Alliance.
Grunt: going back to Tuchanka most likely scenario.
Legion: Quarian VS. Geth story arc?
Samara: Liara is already on the team, so I guess not.
Kasumi: she was very famous with the fans so who knows?

Yes, because when Bioware made ME2 they thought "Oh we'll just write one games worth of material for Miranda, no one will ever like her!" and now have no plans to put her in ME3.

People who say anything along the lines of "[favorite character] HAD BETTER BE IN THE GAME, BIOWARE, OR ELSE!" are the equivalent of Star Wars fans awaiting the release of Return of the Jedi saying "Man they had better have Han Solo in this movie or I am going to be pissed!"
