I didn't use a single ammo power throughout the whole of ME2 because it annoyed me.

Yeah I got the info on Kotaku and came here to get MORE info heh. Not disappointed.

I'm already way too excited and the game is still like 7 months away.

Interesting info. Disappointed that there is still no info on squadplay mechanics and AI improvements given that enemy combat has more variety now which will require much better AI from squad to compensate. Also would like to hear if squad have more differing attributes and abilities now. A lot of similarity and some redundancy in ME2 amongst squad members. Oh, and BW should place some emphasis on the ME2 squad inclusion and not over-favour the ME1 squad. Felt there were a lot more interesting characters in ME2. Bioware, will we get gameplay demo at E3?

Also: Tali  was not confirmed by this magazine but by was confirmed by Casey Hudson...as I stated earlier their article was a little dated (According to them ME3 would have a Christmas Release date)

Detalis are good, but with Garrus popularity we`ll soon be voting Garrus as Turian councilor... (Nice replacement...)
Bigger worlds mean bigger targets, bigger targets mean bigger weapons. I imagine Garrus with Widow or dual Vipers...

because... shepard is a hero, whatever side you choose to play? renegade =/= evil. you RP within a set of predefined parameters, not a blank slate character.

It's a visual display HUD for the user, to indicate what ammo they're using. Helpful to the player, as it's annoying to have to open the Radial Menu every time I want to confirm that the correct ammo is active.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say we're probably looking at more squadmates than ME1 but less than ME2, meaning that if the VS, Liara, Garrus, and Tali are the only ME1 squadmates returning full-time, there are probably about four or five slots to be filled by other characters. We may actually have a 50/50 split between ME2 squaddies and ME1 squaddies, but here's the bit that interests me: if most of the squaddies are previous recruits, it may be that most of your possible recruits are totally locked-out in a game where Shepard failed to keep any of his squadmates alive, leaving Shepard with nobody by the only two slots that definitely will be filled (VS and Liara), as well as the possible James and/or Anderson.

If it's actually possible for a "botched" import to limit you to no more than two allies, that would be... interesting, to say the least.

The fact that Garrus is coming back is almost enough on it's own to make me giddy.
Unfortunately I really want Tali back too. (Edit: Then I read somewhere that she supposedly is back so..yeah.)

That said though, so far everything sounds, well, interesting. I'm not going to think too hard about it until even more solid information drops though.

Yep, it's riiiight.
Yes, they were archetypal.  They weren't tropes though. They were interesting archetypes with the possibility of change in characteristics (at least three out of the six), while ME2 squadmates were tropes which could develop in one way or be indifferent if you haven't chose that way.

You realize thats the answer was so vague right ? I mean yeah the nquestion is about tali being a full squadmember but he just said yes she will be back in ME3 not yes shes gonna be a full squady. To me its just saying yes she will be there (if she lived the SM) and we will go back to the quarian-geth war story line to probably get the races to join us,

I'd love to know their definition of RPG as opposed to "action game with some rpg elements"

Nothing wrong with the latter but most people asked for more RPG mechanics not for just more decisional RP involvement
