So Choice does not mean a dam thing why am I not surprised that a poor man's version of Star Trek and Star Wars can not even have a simple alignment choice for its players . The Cerberus evil in 3 is starting to sound like some bull sh*t.
Like most of everything you post, it doesn't sound like you've thought this through, Extreme.

I am disappointed that Shepard "chooses" to leave Cerberus no matter what. It is just so.... railroady. What was the point of making us work with them in ME2? I thought that we could choose to have them as allies if we were renegade, but guess not. My Shep, hate Aliens (colonist) and is still pissed at the Alliance for hanging him out to dry in ME2 so it makes NO sense for him to run back to Alliance. sigh I used to love Bioware but now if this is true, combined with somethings from DA2, I just don't know anymore.
I agree with you its bull sh*t

I suspect the DLC squad armors will be in 3 as well.

Shepard was working for the Council not the Alliance in ME1.

To be edgy.
I'm serious, ME2 had this edgy teenager vibe about it.

Oh I did think this through Bioware can tip toe around things if they want to . But the bottom line is The renegade ending of 2 clearly implies Shepard would remain with Cerberus and lead Cerberus's fight against the reapers . Oh but now in 3 us renegade players have to fighter Cerberus . Its bull sh*t and garbage . Choice in ME games have no effect on the game . In 2007 Bioware said that your choices as Shepard would shape your ME universe . Well guess what that was a lie. Because in ME 1 I killed that do nothing alien council and I do not even see the human council that my Shepard put into power in ME 2 .

Oh maybe you do not understand . My Shepard is pro human and wants humanity to be as strong as it can be in the ME universe so Cerberus and the TIM both share the views of My Shepard . Plus I hate the alliance. But I will deal with the alliance just like Lord Vader dealt with the jedi

Am I the only one worried about this? Since there is no cannon how the **** is BW going to design the future of Mass Effect? Is it going to be like what Dragon Age 2 did and just briefly mention what obviously happend like for example it would mention that Shepard defeated the Reapers. I'm just worried how things will be designed since there is no absolute cannon.

Likewise, Cerberus was the only group and organization that recognized that the Reapers were a threat, not like the alliance sending you on scouting missions for Geth.

Well like some people are saying, Cerberus is basically "Rogue Cells: The Organization" so maybe it's not his fault.

Or maybe they just love turnover.

Humanity has been in the galaxy for over 30 years.
There are tons of stories to tell that don't involve Shepard.

You seem to think you should have unlimited option with choices you make, you seem to be forgetting that this is a video game and there for choice is limited. You can't expect Bioware to give unlimited choices, they have to stick with limited choices that will help tell the story they are trying to tell. If you assumed that Shepard would be with Cerberus in ME 3 cause the ending of ME 2 that's your fault not Bioware's cause your making assumptions.

I hope that start over with a new main character and have you look for the character you made in the last three games - and depending on the choices you make Shepard becomes the ally or the enemy of your new main character in ME4.

I agree the alliance does not give a dam about the reaper threat . They will be too busy in 3 putting Shepard on trail . Cerberus was the only ones doing anything about the collectors and the reapers .

ME1:
Clearly brute, shortsighted consequentialism - They're willing to screw with humans to "advance" humanity.
Clearly incompetent (they really can't seem to get a research operation going without messing it up)
ME2:
Clearly consequentialist
Clearly incompetent - Lazarus falls apart, Pragia was a mess, etc.
FISHY BACKGROUND - We're supposed to believe that one man all by himself created an organization that somehow has better technology and wherewithal than the Alliance, which represents the vast majority of humanity? Suspicious.
