Cerberus couldn't even reign in some Thorian creepers, who knows what kind of accidents they'd create with a fully functional collector base...

I also fail to see how using Alliance Marines as test subjects for Thresher Maw is "advancing humanity"

I don't want to here no "rogue cell" excuse.

Oh I did think this through Bioware can tip toe around things if they want to . But the bottom line is The renegade ending of 2 clearly implies Shepard would remain with Cerberus and lead Cerberus's fight against the reapers . Oh but now in 3 us renegade players have to fighter Cerberus . Its bull sh*t and garbage . Choice in ME games have no effect on the game . In 2007 Bioware said that your choices as Shepard would shape your ME universe . Well guess what that was a lie. Because in ME 1 I killed that do nothing alien council and I do not even see the human council that my Shepard put into power  in ME 2 .

You seem to think you should have unlimited option with choices you make, you seem to be forgetting that this is a video game and there for choice is limited. You can't expect Bioware to give unlimited choices, they have to stick with limited choices that will help tell the story they are trying to tell. If you assumed that Shepard would be with Cerberus in ME 3 cause the ending of ME 2 that's your fault not Bioware's cause your making assumptions.

Then what was the F**king point behind keeping  the base then .

" And thats tough becaus there is no canon except for what the player has chosen. In the end, its their game".

Am I the only one worried about this? Since there is no cannon how the **** is BW going to design the future of Mass Effect? Is it going to be like what Dragon Age 2 did and just briefly mention what obviously happend like for example it would mention that Shepard defeated the Reapers. I'm just worried how things will be designed since there is no absolute cannon.

Humanity has been in the galaxy for over 30 years.

There are tons of stories to tell that don't involve Shepard.

I'm talking about games that take place after the Reaper threat or Shepards arc. The univese can't be contained to just First contact war------through the Reaper invasion. Unless they pull a thousands of years in the future of the events of the Reaper invasion.

I hope that start over with a
new main character and have you look for the character you made in the
last three games - and depending on the choices you make Shepard becomes
the ally or the enemy of your new main character in ME4.

I don't see how this is possible. That would be a lot of content designed and only a certain % would be used. Seems like a waste to design so much to only have a small number of it used.

In ME2, the Alliance were morons. They didn't believe the Reapers were a threat at all, and were still sending you on scouting patrols looking for GETH! They didn't even have any info on the Collectors whatsoever. Cerberus

so far as we know...

You handed a base full of dangerous technology to a freakin' terrorist organization. An organization that has proven time and time again to be unable to safely experiment on anything.

They couldn't even bring a dead man back to life without everyone dying. A project that did not involve anything remotely more dangerous than any other facility out there. How can I trust Cerberus to handle Reaper tech?

Good to see Jack is getting some attention.
And by the sounds of it she's sporting an undercut

I'm still not sure if this is squadmate confirmation though.

It sounds good.  But talk is cheap.  I'm gonna want to see more details before I fall for promises of the sun, the moon, and the stars.  Maybe E3 will provide those details.

Just some facts:

- We sont know the plot device that will be used for this.
- We dont even know how true this is.
- In ME games, freedom of choice has always been relative, why ****ing now ? You should play Alpha Protocol.

The only thing the devs confirm is that she is back and this is her redesign (inside and out).
I wish they would confirm it but maybe E3 will shed some light.

Yeah I love how people use that same excuse on here .  Cerberus was doing something in ME 2 while those alien loving bastards the alliance did nothing . Cerberus is not terrorist in my eyes they cared more about humanity than the alliance ever will. Shepard on trail because the alliance is crying over the batarains who died . pathetic.

Cerberus does not care about humanity as a whole. Only Cerberus.

Which is what TIM's motive rant at the end was all about.

The Normandy getting a Alliance make-over made smile, truly. So glad to be rid of the Cerberus color scheme. My Shep(s) wear Alliance Blue! Although I did play my renegade Shep pretty hardcore just to see what it was like to play that way but I didn't overly like it. I prefer my Sheps to be the hero, not the cruel bastard who'll be immoral and unethical but still get the job done.

Can't wait to see the new weapon and armor designs, modding weapons and different melee attacks for each class. Seeing Jack with some hair... and clothes.. will be nice too.
