how come no one else that was indoctrinated had funny eyes?

You ever look at Saren's eyes?

It's starting to seem real likely T.I.M. might have gotten indoctrinated. Though I think it would be a bit more nifty if T.I.M. was after you for other reasons.

Saren was more machine than organic by the time that his eyes started to glow. No other organic has shown glowing eyes at any point, let alone the symbols that TIM has in his eyes.

What about Renegade Shep? As of ME2 Shep is, indeed, a cyborg, and if you go full renegade your eyes start to glow.

99.99% the case. I think having TIM after you for indoctrination is pretty stupid. It makes plenty sense that he's pissed at you when you basically told him to go **** himself at the end of ME2. Trillions of credits on one man/woman and then they say screw you. Yea, I'd be pissed too.

Well, you could have taken a more peaceful path with TIM. And I don't think he's so petty as to hold grudge over bickering.

multiple blue glows, full body, full indoctrination.

slight glowy eyes, face glow, mostly indoctrinated, came into contact with the same artifact as TIM, then met Sovereign, so the process sped up.

eye glow, nothing else, no apparent indoctrination.

Take into note that the shared color is blue.

Those are husks. Heavily synthetic, with a lot of tech in them. As for Saren, also heavily upgraded with tech.

No, the Illusive Man is in control, and whatever his reasons and goals are, they must be coldly calculated.

I just wish BioWare didn't shoehorn all Shepards into being an anderson-esque wuss. I, for one, didn't work for Cerberus in ME2 "begrudgingly". I worked for them willingly.

they said cerberus is now under reaper control.

they never said TIM was.

Recall that PC Gamer were speculating when they said Cerberus was working for the Reapers. They weren't quoting anyone nor were they basing this on any facts. It sounded like what they think is happening. After all, they're the same people who mistook Ashley for FemShep.

What if the reapers killed TIM and eliminated anyone that had visually identified him, and staged a puppet-coup in just the same way Liara took over the role of the Shadow Broker?

But then the twist is that there's one problem- TIM survived and is going to try to fight and get control of Cerberus back. That's when the true choice comes, do you a) Destroy Reaper Cerberus and eliminate the threat the organization poses to galactic unity? Do you B) Help TIM regain control, put him back in power and regain a powerful ally for the fight ahead?

Or do you c) Kill TIM at the end of the operation... and take Cerberus for yourself!

TIM is able to fight indoctrination, just read the Evolution comics. That's what it makes it seem to be. He is not for the Reapers in ME3. Also keep in mind that it would make the story stupid if he was. It would introduce nothing new to the series.

Game decisions of ME1 and ME2 hints that one of the most crucial decisions for ME3 is using the Alliance or using Cerberus to fight the reapers, possibly both. For example, a small decision from an N7 mission I just did playing ME2 had me to decide whether to upload valuable encrypted Cerberus data back to Cerberus or to Alliance command.

Like what you said, I agree that we will have the decision to have complete control over Cerberus, and likewise the Alliance in some other plot. And interestingly better, we might have to choose one or the other.

When Shepard says to Illusive Man that he might do a Reaper, Illusive Man DOESN'T deny it.

Well that's because there's no reason for TIM not to do a reaper. Reapers almost bring the galaxy to its knees (assuming victory in ME3). Considering Cerberus's less than stellar performance in "experiments", they'd likely try to create a reaper for its ability to almost instantly make humanity an invincible galactic super power.

I would not be surprised if TIM tried it, assuming they *think* they have enough data to keep control over it.

TIM doing a reaper? Lol. That's just perverted! Athough the Reapers probably won't be able to stand against such mighty a sex appeal TIM's gonna unleash on them!!!

Maybe it's indeed the best way to screw them...

Hmm I always just figured the reason TIM's eyes glowed was because they wanted to give him some sort of defining feature that we wouldn't forget. Otherwise, he's just a dude smoking in a chair.

I never figured it needed to be something plot related, but hey whatevs. We'll find out next year.

I would love to fight side-to-side with TIM. Maybe in some scenarios TIM even sacrifices himself to save Shepard/humanity.

They hyped TIM up way to much in Mass Effect 2 to just go with Indoctrination alone.

I think it will end with him indoctrinated, but there is going to be another factor that as of yet has not been explained.

As for Cerberus turning back into mooks, I really don't mind.

They were incompetent mooks in Mass Effect 1 that had no real motivation.

They were supposed to be pro human, well intentioned extremists in Mass Effect 2,  but the writing team forgot to show us any of the good deeds or accomplishments that came of their crazy plans. They seemed to kill more humans then they helped and were generally dicks about it.

Yeah, feel free to go back to mindless mooks again in Mass Effect 3. No no, please, I insist.

Lol, Martin Sheen is the man!

Also, during ME2 TIM's true intentions and agenda are hidden. I hope that during ME3 it will be revealed in full. I'm hoping that he will be at least a temp squadmate.

For all we know, TIM has in-built Garrus Visors in his eyes which record everything. Or naughty videos on infinite loop. The possibilities are not limited.

Or, as said before, just a defining feature. Or maybe an ATTEMPT to indoctrinate him.

I'd like TIM to be on my side. He's cool.

from Casey Hudson's Twitter ...

Shepard had no choice but to work with Cerberus in #ME2. But both #ME2 and #ME3 let you roleplay whether you agreed with that.
