If it is like in ME1, then YAY. If they have collapsibles then EVEN BETTER.
Although I urge caution. if you look closely at Caseys post, he only sais you'll be able to equip and unequip them, right? Well, technically you were able to that in ME2 as well. The real question is, will we be able to do that during missions/specifically for dialogue scene?
I hope that is what he meant but from his comment you can't really tell.

True I don't want the helmets to be like ME2 where it's either on or off I really would love to have ME's toggle while playing helmets so I can decide where and when I wear my helmet.

You could equip and remove helmets in ME2. Why is everyone so excited about this tweet?

Uh, probably because the helmets will go bye bye during conversations and cutscenes? It was mildly retarded to see Shep kiss Liara when he was in the Blood Dragon Armor w/ its non-removable helmet. Dido for whenever Shep was drinking something through a full helmet. You can only suspend disbelief so much before you're forced to say to the devs, "what in the name of Andraste were you thinking, if you were thinking at all?"
Plus, it really killed the point of spending ANY time customizing your Shep's face when in the end you couldn't even see the face during the cutscenes.

He didn't say that. He said "you'll be able to equip and remove helmets." Which is something we can already do in ME2. There was nothing said about toggles or helmets automagically being hidden during cutscenes. At least no source posted in this thread, anyway.CARL_DF90 wrote...

Now they just have to make a patch for it in ME2. Seriously, why did they remove the option for DLC armours?
