I prefer the old look. I felt she was more mysterious when she wasn't flaunting her supernatural nature.

DAO, but I can live with the DA 2 Flemeth, just lose the hair horns.

Just makes more sense for the Witch of the Wilds who is draped in mystery and has been able to hide herself for so long. If I were an all powerful witch who wants to keep to secrecy and mystery, I wouldn't make myself look so obvious by taking the form of a JRPG villain.

I personally prefere DA 2 flemeth. Boobies beat everything Image IPBImage IPB

The real reason though. Her armor looks badass, & she herself doesnt look like a thrown togeather npc like she did in DAO. Everything she wore in DAO was equally stylish on any female npc in denerim. I have yet to see an npc with battlemage armor & horn tied hair in DA 2.

Rofl, the woman's like hundreds of years old. Her body is also very old.

Don't you think they would be suffering from massive saggage?

Flemeth solidifies herself as a dragon fangirl with her new look.

New, just because Flemeth agrees there that dragons are awesome.

Not supernatural to me just Soxdy.. sexy odd in a manga way.

Given we see her as a dragon having pvc Soxdy gran wear to enforce her  magical nature is strange to say the least.
I don't think DA:O's style would have fitted either, but at least it did fit  Flemith's intent at deception.
Something a little more like Anders outfit but losser and mixed in with Flemiths witch of the wilds vibe would have been more to my tastes.

However of the two DA:O.

The new Flemeth is sillier, but I still like it better.
I also like this picture, although her waist is a bit impossible.

I would of prefered if she of had her own look in DAO, instead of that of a forgettable npc(she wasnt forgettable, just her apperance).

I admit, her look in DA 2 is a bit over the top, but it still beats out the generic look she had in dao.

I like new Flemeth better, because her face is more expressive.

New Flemeth looks "cooler", Old Flemeth looks more "appropriate".

I don't think anyone wants to argue that old woman Flemeth looks better or more unique than JRPG GILF Flemeth. But considering the context, Grandma Bland makes more sense.

At least to me.

But I'm okay with new Flemeth as long as they take out the hair horns. That is just way too over the top.

Lol, then it's an impossible task.

Morrigan with hair horns, though. That would be hilarious.

I prefer my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother not to give me a boner. Or look like an anime character.

Just sayin'

Each look is intended for Flemeth's purpose at the time. Old bedraggled lady living in a hut? Perfect for guilting a newly-made Warden into taking on a strange companion. Powerful vamp in some kick*ss armor? Perfect for taking down enemies and making bargains with refugees.
I'm partial to the latter. Image IPB

Flemeth's new look was the only one that didn't make me want to vomit..(please protect me from Qunari Battle cattle)..but like the combat, it went to far. It was too over the top. I didn't like her DAO look as the dumpy old woman..she was a bit too dumpy..but the new look made her look like some kind of Dungeon hooker. So, she's lived in the wilderness for centuries trying not to draw attention to herself dressing like..that? Stupid. Looks cool, hat tip to the artist, but not realistic at all.

If I had to choose between the two for RPG purposes, I'd choose the dumpy Flemeth from DAO; my reaction there was..holy c**p! That old bag turns into a dragon?

Though there are many design decisions in DA2 with which I am less than enthusiastic - the Flemeth re-design strangely was not among them. I felt that they were almost introducing a new character with the re-design, because she has a different role to play in the DA universe. So her old image fit her role in the wilds but the new one suggests that she has a whole new plan (or is about to initiate a new phase in a very old one).

I suspect that we will be seeing a whole lot more of her in future installments of DA (but with all that cleavage, seeing too much more might lose DA its 18+ rating... :-)

Heh. I see nothing in DA2 that merits a "M" or "18+" rating. More like PG-13. "May contain foul language, violence, and scenes of minor sexuality"

DA:O. The Flemith in DA2 was just too over the top for me. An eighty year old, with the body of a twenty year old, the hair, it just didn't fit. DA:O her appearance fit what the story. Unassuming, is she trying to help, or does she have other motives, is she dangerous. Is she really thee Flemith.

Yeah, I know but I was trying to make a funny about Flemeth, GILF's, and boobs using traditional British understatement I learned from my wife (she's English, I am not).
