I always thought that the gameplay element of Shepard bellying up to the bar and getting smashed was somewhat squandered in terms of character immersion.  Sure he got drunk, passed out from Krogan hard liquor, and even got poisoned, but why did his teammates never join him in his off duty pursuits?  You can't tell me military/mercenary types don't ever kick back in drunken comradery (or rivalry as the case may be).

So my question to the forum is, what sort of alchohol inspired conversations do you imagine would have occurred among the ME1 and ME2 crews?  Here's what I imagine would happen in a few scenarios:
  • Ashley makes a snide and vaguely racist comment about Liara's blue skin when competing for Shepard's affections, "Quit hyperventilating, doll--your skin is blue enough as it is already."
  • Dr. Modin Solus would question Grunt in very circumspect ways (so as not to reveal his role in the creation of the genophage) about exactly how Grunt's "tank-bred" physiology is meant to "ignore" the affects of the genophage.
  • Tali and Legion (who does not imbibe) have a reeeeeally awkward conversation as former master and former slave respectively
  • Shepard has to prevent a full blown brawl between Miranda and Jack.  Wouldn't it be great as a gameplay feature to have to take one or both of them out (knocking out versus killing) as they're taking apart the Dark Star Lounge?
  • Shepherd, lacking any sober constraints, throws Joker under the proverbial bus for all Joker's "crew portfolio assessments," e.g., "Hey, Mordin, a little birdy told me you got your degree from F.U.  And Grunt, could you BE more of a 'stabilizing element'?"
