I named my mabari Dragonslayer.

I tried the same name in Origins, but it was one letter too long.  It fits in DA2 though, and so I've stuck with it.

Perhaps in future playthroughs, I could try Mageslayer or Templar Eater.

to clarify my DA:O dog is named Wrex my DA:II dog is for oblivious raeason named Shadow,also called Pale

I was on a medieval naming spree during DA2 soooo I named my mabari Morganna.
But I couldn't resist and go back to the name Barkspawn... lol

I called my dog Gemlen in my first 2 playthroughs. But after I got the Mod that summons Leliana instead of the dog, I called the dog Leliana.

Ok, Ive seen some unhealthy Leliana obsessions before but to mod the game where you actually summon HER instead of the mabari?  I can't even put that into words.

Bear. It is the name that I use for dogs in most games. It is the name of my dog in RL too.
