Hey guys, I've been playing Insanity for a while now and was wondering if checking on the difficulty on the options menu while ingame (if it's set to Insanity) and exiting the menu (without changing the difficulty setting) will affect my chances of getting said trophy.

However, when I do this, I tend to reload a previous save (to be on the safe side). Is it safe to continue or not? I've been meaning to do another Insanity run but I'm just itching to get the trophy and get it out of the way.

I started a new game and set the difficulty to Insanity on the options before the prologue began.

You should be alright. The problem occurs at the options menu before you start your game. Honestly, I'm not totally crystal clear on the whole insanity glitch, but I think your ok. I'm pretty sure my insanity run is good too. We'll see....

Thanks! Anyway, did the latest patch (1.03 for US) address the insanity trophy glitch? or was it the 1.02 patch (that broke the Genesis choices)? I shelved this game for weeks to wait for the fix. I hope we both get this trophy.
