Nothing from Bioware, this is just speculation coming from me. I think Miri will be a squadmate in ME3, simply for a few facts.

*ME2 spoilers*******

-Well first, she's an LI. A lot of speculation going around on the forums that the LIs are the most likely to be squadmates, which makes sense. She's one of the most popular characters as well.

-She was the hardest to get killed in the SM mission, her survival was pretty much guaranteed

-I think the story with her family (sister) and Cerberus now against Shepard, this will play into the game

-And most importantly, she knows where TIM is....this is huge. Unless they bring to her TIM's location blindfolded, which is a far stretch, she knows where he is. Once crap hits the fan in ME3 against Cerberus, I think her likeliness of being a squadmate is increased, and her help in tracking down/taking out TIM will be essential

What do you think?

Yes she is most likely going to be a squadmember, but they won't announce it for a while because they like watching ExtremeOne freak out over the wait

He isn't the only one. I admit the anticipation of Miranda's role is making it hard to keep cool. Though ExtremeOne's main problem is that he can't be a Cerberus lapdog this time around.

I've heard that happen for some people, but super rare.

I have to say though that in the books it is stated that TIM's base is relocated often. And taking the events of ME2 in perspective I assume it's moved again.

It's as easy to get her to die as it is any other except for one thing. If you pick her as the leader of the second squad, while you and your team go through the swarm, she can't die, even if she's unloyal.
Other than that, she'll die just like the rest.

Shouldn't Miranda be working for the Illusive Man? She was pro cerberus to the core in ME2 and seemed like she was willing to do anything for TIM.

As far as I remember TIM's base is shifring possitions... and him being a mastermind and all would well... place it somewhere else when someone who knows it's curent location is no longer trustworthy? And if the base is static...

Come on. OP you seriously never even considered that? What do anyone using his brain would do? Go somewhere else since he knows that there is a leak. It strikes me how you compleatly ignored logic.

She probably knows the last place she met him, but TIM moves his space station to random locations, so I doubt she can point to where he is at the moment.

*spoilers******

She basically tells TIM to **** off at the end of ME2 if she's loyal to you, and also resigns from Cerberus.

How do you move a space station to random locations? In any case I don;t actually think he moves from the general location where he is at. The background of his office is a supposed clue to where he is at after all.

I don't know how we'll be able to track him down then =/

Edit: Like Nashiktal said though, I think they won't move him in the game. That background is supposed to be a hint or whereever he is...

Miranda isn't my favorite character (Tali is my fev), but I do hope she is a permenent squad mate. And I think she has a pretty good chance of being permanent for she is a LI and got a big fan base!

Nope, she will only die if unloyal and even then, only if you leave her with a very bad team to Hold the Line or you take her with you to figth the Final Boss..
If Loyal, Miranda is invincible. You can leave her alone to Hold the Line and she will survive.

Her loyalties shift subtely during the course of ME2 until she eventually resigns if Shepard follows the Paragon Path.
Even if unloyal, BTW.

Could be good reasons to bring her back. But since she resigned from Cerberus I hope she will have a larger role than just the asset to take down Cerberus/TIM.
I want her at my side to fight the reapers.

This pretty much sums up what I'm thinking when naysayers and haters come through.
