Garrus is the new gameplay videos as well, no need to worry that Liara is getting too much attention. except for the shadow borker dlc  though...

They played the Sur'Kesh demo again. Then they answered questions that have been asked before. Low points are: "What's the release date?", "What's your favorite aspect of the game?", "How do you handle romance?"

And in the movie panel they talked about how Mass Effect would translate well as a movie but that's all the info they game. Casey told Gamespot that they have a first draft of the screenplay and that Mark is writing a second draft.

Bioware is allowed to make some characters more important. Its not favouritism, every plot has major main characters and minor main characters. Shepard and Liara are major characters, along with say Saren, TIM and the Reapers. Other characters can be important to the story, but inevitably some will be more important.

Bioware is allowed to make some characters more important. Its not favouritism, every plot has major main characters and minor main characters. Shepard and Liara are major characters, along with say Saren, TIM and the Reapers. Other characters can be important to the story, but inevitably some will be more important.

liara's not in that group - she's not essential to any plot after the cypher part of ME1. Saren would be but obviously can only appear in one game, Shep, TIM, Anderson are the top-tier characters, everyone else is below that.
