Oh, this is good news. For some of my playthroughs, I had to do Kasumi post suicide mission because I already had some Sheps who beat the game.

There will be probably some sort of "Suicide Mission" check to make sure you actually completed the game otherwise it won't show up. Can't import an incomplete ME1 save into ME2, can you? (or at least a save from before entering the Council Chambers)

I've always assumed you will just be able to point it at whichever post SM save game you want. I hope so because I've got a couple of branches for some Sheps (they took different romances just before the SM).

Yeah this is what I meant...obviously can't import a save that hasn't had the SM done...other variables are fair play (Such as not doing Legions LM).

Yes, I think it will work like the New Game Plus in ME2 : you will be able to choose a specific save during a career (after the SM of course).

So, then I could RP that no one but Garrus and Tali are loyal to Shepard until AFTER the SM and have the decisions on those loyalty missions still transer? That sounds fantastic....
