i think i know why they got cut then. they were probably faceless mooks.
Nah, the reason they got cut is because later drafts of the story added the "organics vs. machines" thing, and they decided they needed an enemy that fit that theme better. So they came up with the geth. It's mentioned in the "The Art Of Mass Effect" book. So are the bat people, actually, though for some reason the fact that those folk were the original batarians wasn't.

This. Especially if 'feedback' includes the forums.Unpleasant Implications wrote...
We can only imagine. Sorting through which sorts of sources to obtain info from, deciding what's crap, what's plausible, and then trying to implement the plausible into the game in a fun and interactive way that makes sense. Loads of research and coding. Gentlemen, I salute you.Vertigo_1 wrote...

I hope "economy" refers to the rate of progression and acquisition and not a credit based economy where you're looting people's homes to buy stuff from street vendors. That has been one of the more absurd aspects of both games so far.
You've got the Shadow Broker who should be able to buy/arrange to get anything in existence. You've got a Spectre who would have the backing the Council along with possibly yourself depending on your previous choices. You're representing the Alliance in trying to secure allies. You'll be securing allies by taking action on species homeworlds so they'll be in a position to commit resources to the greater war effort. If necessary, my level 60 Shepard's have personal accounts in the billions of credits that they funnelled the overflow from ME1 into
Having Shepard buy stuff with found money in that situation with the resources they should be able to call upon would just be silly.

Speaking of economies can we now buy/sell armor, artifacts, minerals, casual clothing, and mods? And can the stores actually have inventory that is sizable to their locations I can see some back water town merchant only having 10 things but a hub city world shouldn't they should have 30 items or so and all inventory should rotate throughout the game to keep things new.

I'd like to see them make the economy tougher by stores only having so many credits. For example, Omega stores will probably have crappier material and less credits, as opposed to Citadel or Illium stores.
This is the kind of depth that is welcome in simulation games, or Elder Scrolls games, but I don't really think it would fit in Mass Effect well. It's fluff.

Perhaps not absolutely everything is finished being implemnted yet, but they're not gonna create something entirely new at this point (be it a feature, weapon upgrade, new skin/armor or whatever). They're pulling all they're come up till now and polishing and making that work. Coming up with ideas process is done. Yay!Kings19 wrote...

Hopefully its true. 6-7 months of just putting everything together and polishing should be plenty of time to finish the game. Here's to a bug-free ME3

Its not that I want them to rush it or bring the release date closer but its just confusing. But I suppose it just gives them heaps of time to make better graphics, combat balance and voice acting and have really good CGI cutscenes and a good soundtrack.

OK, here's a question: how long is a final production stage supposed to last and on what basis is that number calculated?
