Sweet. I just might switch from Sentinel to Engineer in ME3.

re: the base decision:

@DawnTreader_LMB:

@macwalterslives @TheTMA2 Both situations give TIM the info. So, there will be a significant difference if I destroyed or not the base?

Why? It's not from anyone official. The least we can do it keep this thread for the tweets from the team of ME3.

God I hate these multiplayer rumors that keep cropping up.

edit: spelling

Same here - just from hearing that preview summery from the new Invasion comic, I was somewhat concerned that they'd be retconing the Collector Base decision in some degree. :?

The Missile Launcher, but sometimes I wish I coulda switched between the Seeker option and a LIne-of-Sight option. Especially during the Reaper IFF mission, the damn missiles would veer off at Husks instead of head for the damn Reactor.

I only used the grenade launcher or the Arch-lightning thingy. I Pretty much always kept the lightning one on. And rarely used it but it was good with out being over the top, also didn't take up my entire BACK, fit with the weapons the best.

I don't have a fav heavy weapon sense I have to carry one the collector beam does the job but honestly I'd like to not have to carry any heavies.

Are you people kidding me? Seriously? Nobody went of the CAIN??? That sucker needed more ammo so we could use it more often!

M920 Cain. It was a shortcut through two of the most annoying battles in the game - the Reaper IFF final battle and Overlord final battle. And it saved my ass in the last battle of the Long Walk on the SM on Insanity. I've always felt that what you could do with the other heavy weapons was nice but wasn't worth saving heavy weapons ammo for, and the heavy weapons ammo was used up far too fast. Normal guns would do just as well, even if it took a little longer. The Cain, though, that *was* worth the 100 per shot.

Without the Cain, it's very likely I wouldn't play complete ME2 playthroughs on Insanity.

My favorite was the Missile Launcher or the Collector Beam Gun.

Cain all the way. The other weps I just found that my normal weps/powers did more damage than they did, and also the extra creds for looting power cells with full heavy wep ammo was nice.

Yeah I don't like the Cain, its to big and makes a silly 'mushroom cloud' that's bizarly tiny. Doesn't make any sense. Was just for show. On top of that I rarely used heavy weapons so I wanted something that 'fit' with my other weapons on my back and the Cain fails at that miserably. Change the way the explosion looks so its a bit more believable and make it so you don't have to charge to 100% just to fire it (letting damage 'scale' as well as blast radius/explosion size) and I'd probably like it a lot more. Also, scaled down on back would be nice.

I like the Cain and Arc Projector.
Cain is as Iedra2 said a nice shortcut for some instances

Arc Projector because it's great against multiple targets and it looks plain awesome!

Bizarrely tiny, huh?  You realize it's not just nukes and massive ordnance that can produce them, right?  As long as the conditions are met, physics will take over:

Yes, I know, but the 2 pictures you showed (and the most common cases of it) are either just smoke puffing or a fire releasing a 'cloud' that kind of looks like a mushroom explosion. There short lived, small and don't really have the force the Cain is supposed to have.

Not that I don't like the explosion effect I just wish it was 'bigger' is all im saying. Preferably a scaled explosion that moves to a mushroom based one at 80%+. I still think Cain, in ME2 is silly and pretty much always will.
