Not a fan, but eh. As long as we have a way to respond like in Catherine, then it will be pretty cool.Vertigo_1 wrote...

Hm...doesn't really say that they can all be carried at once, but it's better than nothing.

This does seem very odd; did anyone ever describe the emails as a success?

If we could have systems such as these, as used in ME1 when discussing missions with the Council, then you could integrate conversations (which allows some chance to roleplay your response, even if there are no decisions beyond being either aggressive or supportive etc.) and would allow for more substantive cameos
Not that I like popular NPCs only being cameos, but I'd rather they were the above sort of cameo, over an email

hm...I thought equip meant carry. I guess he did confirm that you can carry all 3 at the same time after all.Someone With Mass wrote...

At least something a little interactive and more interesting. Some e-mails in ME2 were a little annoying like the one from Dr. Michel who says something like "next time your on the citadel stop by the med clinic!" I went to the citadel several times and obviously couldn't visit the med clinic...

Oh also since they said they're keeping all the weapons + most (if not all) the bonus content weapons 'and' adding a bunch more (per catagory). I'm pretty sure they're just being vague for the sake of there own amusement. All 3 are in, you can carry all 3 if you want. but there might be some newer, shinier ones you end up liking even more.

In fact shotguns are already like that in ME2 as has been discussed to extreme length in the Vanguard thread. Every single one has some reason to use it over the others, even over the Claymore. Its all preference, the AR/Sniper getting same treatment would make sense for ME3.

I don't mind receiving e-mails from characters. However, it would be a lot nicer to be able to respond and maybe then access anything from a side-quest to a gun, or even a weapon mod.

Yeah. I thought maybe after that email the med clinic would be "unlocked", or something. So, like schmuck I went trying to find it....with Garrus....<_<
Edit: I liked the emails..but an interactive vid mail concept would be choice.

The first line in my statement is true, the second is speculation, so don't quote me on that. But I think that's how you would have all three in ME3. Cause you can't grab more than one, and you can't make the Revenant for yourself or for anyone.

It'll be like Virmire, where a plan gone wrong forces Shep to choose one of the three weapons to take. The other two get blown up as they make their stand against an unstoppable onslaught of Cerberus / Reaper forces. Later in life Shep will be questioned as to why he left two of those guns to die, to which he answers: "It was a hard choice that I didn't take lightly".lightsnow13 wrote...
