Yep. It messes with the enemies' weapons and hacks synthetics, which makes it not completely useless against organic targets this time.

My future Engineer Build:
Combat Drone
Sentry Turret
Incinerate
Sabotage
Tech Mastery

The turret and drone would provide the ultimate CC. Combine that with sabotage, and Shepard can just point and laugh at his helpless foes. Incinerate will be used as finisher; I like that the sound team gave it more "oomph". This is all assuming you can max out 5 skills.

the thing with Samara (at least the way I interpreted her) is that her code kind of made her "blind" to priorities. I don't think there is anywhere in her code that tells her to deal with Mecha Cthulhus but there is stuff on how to deal with thugs....and RenegadeShep could fit the bill for the latter...

granted, I'm glad she DOES have her priorities straight.......although, I was really hopeful for a Samara boss fight for a RenegadeShep lol

What they don't mention there is that at the end of the game, once the Reapers are beaten, Sammy shows up and squashes your brain against the wall anyway.
