Praise be. I was afraid all of my gay Shepards would have to be Engineers.
I'm still confused on this tweet. Does he mean history of shepard? So...war hero, ruthless, etc. and all that you chose? I heard you have to start over at level 1 when you choose a different class.

Apparently that's not true anymore. So now I'm not sure what the incentive is for playing through all 3 games as the same class, without changing anything about your character. There should definitely be one in my opinion, I'll feel very cheated if not.

I think he's referring to just changing classes. For example, if you import a level 30 soldier and change the class to a sentinel, you will still stay at level 30. However, I did hear that changing your class will have some other consequences. Possibly lowered import bonuses? Things like less starting money, less paragon/renegade points? Perhaps not starting with a certain weapon? It could be anything really but I doubt it will be anything too punishing.
So, if that's the case, there is still an incentive, however small, to stay the same class.

I'm not talking about weapon mods. I'm referring to the upgrades like in ME2. Ones that are permanent (+10% damage per upgrade etc.).
