Don't change it! DON'T CHANGE IT!!!! I don't want my squad of bad asses (all of whom rival Shepard in combat skill) to turn into a bunch of lousy NPC distractions...

Story of my life. I mean, being a Vanguard with an Infiltrator backing you up is a good idea in theory but when the guy with the sniper rifle is consistently too skillful it does make things a bit problematic for the glass canon trying to get out of the line of fire. Still, if the Vanguard is smart, he/she won't get in a bad situation that they need to retreat from in the first place. Sounds like the class plays in a similar fashion to its ME2 counterpart, can't wait to play it.

This link works. It isn't live neat stuff, sadly.

:o lol. I tend to only use some renegade interrupts and no renegade choices s in my canon playthrough but if ME3 challenges my paragon ways then this could be very interesting. ^_^

It's been a long time since I played DAII, but I don't think I recognize that music.
COULD THAT BE CLINT MANSELL THROUGHOUT THE BEGINNING OF THAT EPISODE?!?! :o
Or the WHOLE episode?!?!
Oh, hey wait, that's an older episode. Even so...

Yes!!

I always play as a Paragade anyway but it'll be nice being forced to (perhaps) play against our nomal style.

Considering how heavily the games favor paragon choices over the others...

I wonder if this finally means there's some balance/a beneficial reason to make a non-paragon decision...

It'd be nice if the morality wasn't tied into every single conversation option and wasn't obviously colour-coded, might force us to think about what we want to say before we choose to say it out of habit. Moral ambiguity sounds fun though, my canon has progressed from Paragon in ME1 to Paragade in ME2.. maybe she'll end up a Renegon or Renegade by the end of ME3. After 3 games, you'd think Shepard's outlook on everything would change a bit.

Well...we honestly don't know if the series as a whole benefits Paragon. From what I've been hearing playing full Paragon may bite you in the ass in ME3.

I actually find it to be more interesting when there aren't any color codes, since it makes me play on gut feeling, which can have mixed results.

I think if the dialogue options were actually what Shep says then losing the coding might be a way to go. But since there often seems to be little correlation between the text and what comes out of the character's mouth it might be too easy to go astray from the player's intentions. But that's just my $.02.

That's really something they should improve too. Sometimes, Shepard says exactly what another dialogue choice text said, but he will still say something else when I pick that option.

"I have to ask: what was "there's some love for Kaidan, but not a lot" based on? VS-related game data? fan feedback? sth else?"

"Was having fun with how most players say they nuked Kaidan (stats confirm it). But we love him, and I know many players do too."
